Hey guy,
Thanks for the help in pointing me in the right direction for raid info, now i got a suggestion.. ?
Think it is possible to make either a post, or a whole new forum section just dedicated to raid info?
IE.. Under Forums, have a raid section, and under there have it split between Old school, BC and WotLK, and a break down of each raid in there.
Fourms -> Raids -> WotLK -> TOC10
In each raid info, you could add a class specific section for the raid, IE since im a shammy healer, under the TOC 10 raid info would be a section of shammy tips, ones that would help me play my roll better ?
Maybe im asking to be spoon fed, but I also think this would be very helpful in adding info to help a lot of n00bs out there (like me).
I dunno, just figured there is all this info on class/spec/guides that get updated constantly in each class forum, it wouldn't be that hard to have a (almost) permanate post for raid info,
I also think this would be very useful for people who want to go back and raid old school content.
Anyway.. let me know what you think.. and please, I don't wanna hear "just type it in the database and search it" , if i want to do that ill go back and use thottbot.com lofl!

Hey Takolin, thanks for the website, I'll go check it out,
I know there are other sites and stuff, other forums as well, I've just always gone to wowhead, they are awesome with patch note updates and give me all the info I'll ever need.
I guess this was more of a suggestion to them , and or , anyone eles who would take it apon themselfs to make a raid guide like this, lord knows there are some pretty mint guide on here already, with links and all the bells.
I've read raid info on here before so I'm sure its already set up, just need someone who knows what they are doing to link it all up together on one easy to read layout
Thank you for approving my thread =-) , i try not to be a trollz.

If you combine info from tankspot & bosskillers & stratfu, and even sometimes MMO-champ, u're pretty much set for any boss, even the ones that are beeing released (alot of ptr datas). It's good idea, but not really original and needed here Imho. And you've got short preview of bosses on their wowhead page aswell.
I went to Tank spot , wasn't impressed by the lay out. There was no ICC 10 raid break downs, just a bunch of lame posts being like "GEAR CHECK".
I think its retarded how you have to go to 3-4-5 web pages to get an idea of a raid boss.
I remember seeing a quick break down of ICC raid (on wowhead) when it first came out, honestly thats all we would need for each raid.
Again back to my point, i think adding this in the fourm section would be mint, Wowhead has a really good fourm layout and adding a Raid section wouldn't be hard.
Why wouldn't a break down of each raid be needed here? Wouldn't it only improve on the info this site provides?

The idea of Wowhead forum organization is to avoid dozens and dozens of boards with about three threads in them each.

Well well well, I'll be damned, I found the raid section here on wowhead, and it was pretty much was I was looking for,
Sugguest you move the raid tab to a place that is more visable!
Sides that, good day.

Exactly. There would not be enough thread about each different raid to worth a specific forum for each.

I am afraid such thing will likely not be implemented. Don't get me wrong, the idea is awesome and I love how systematic it would be. However I don't think we have the userbase to support so many divisions. And even if we were to create so many forums, how many threads do you estimate each one to have? One-two? Three?
There are a few roundabout ways I can think of, that can work their way in our current system though...

just my two cents, the wowhead database has a page for each boss/raid with a breakdown of abilities and loot. followed by a comment section. tankspot is more of a video strategy site.
Wowhead = database with forums
tankspot = video guides with forums
i've also seen some awesome improvements with wowhead over the last year. greay job guys and gals.

Ya maybe I didn't put enough thought / explain it well, but I figured something along this line would be cool,
Honestly I didn't even know the Database -> Zone -> Raid thing exsited on here, it was pretty much what I was after =-D ,
I've been to other places, watch videos and stuff, I just always find myself comming back here to get better info on it,
