Moving Default Raid Frames?

So, I've been trying to do some 25 man raids however I find it hard to heal when I am getting 4 fps! So I ran a 25 man without pitbull on and I was hitting 14 fps, much better. So I pulled out the standard raid frames and saw that they worked "ok" for healing purposes, definitely worth the 10 fps improvement.
Now the problem! I previously had my raid frames in a block in the bottom center of my screen, which I liked because it kept my eyes in the middle of the screen so I could see the fire or green #$%^ that I am standing in. However, when I go to drag the default frames down here, they snap back up about an inch. I am assuming this happens to ensure that the frames do not overlap the default action bar.
Is there any way to override this, like moving anchor points or something ( I pretend to know what I am talking about :P)?
Thanks loads guys :)

The frames are moved by the ValidateFramePosition function, called in the RaidPulloutStopMoving function, defined in Blizzard_RaidUI.lua. Overwriting the RaidPulloutStopMoving function without that line should do the trick:function RaidPulloutStopMoving(frame)
if ( not frame ) then
frame = MOVING_RAID_PULLOUT;
end
if ( frame ) then
frame:StopMovingOrSizing();
frame:SetFrameStrata("BACKGROUND");
frame:ClearAllPoints();
local x, _ = frame:GetCenter();
local y = frame:GetTop();
frame:SetPoint("TOP", nil, "BOTTOMLEFT", x, y);
ValidateFramePosition(frame, 25);
-- Save the end positions
RaidPullout_SaveFrames(frame);
end
end

Yeah that (I guess), or you could just use
MoveAnything
to move them to the center. Also, if you haven't already, reduce graphic settings to the minimum if you haven't already, the load of having that many people on-screen (with just as many spells) can be hell on your machine.

Thanks Highfive, made that change so we'll see how it works in my next 25man!
@ Tenshiqure, Yeah man, I have those graphic settings, sound settings, video resolution lowered. You name it, I've knocked it to the ground. The problem is a 3 year old laptop, windows vista, and an integrated graphics card...nothing I can do except buy a new computer :(

You don't. Blizzard's files aren't (meant to be) editable.
You just create an addon that overwrites the function.

Hence why I said if you wanted to use the default Raid frames that you'll want to use something like MoveAnything to allow you to "modify" that file.

Ok, gonna attempt to make this addon! If it fails, I'll pick up MoveAnything and go from there.
So how do I start...can I call the exact function you gave me in an event script? Do I have to stop the blizzard function from starting? My addon knowledge is very small and if this is more complicated than it seems, let me know and I'll just download the addon xD
Thanks for dealing with my ignorance :P
