In the lack of discussion threads.
If you only were allowed to use one addon, and by one addon I mean only one. No addon-package or similar. Also some reason behind your choice should be provided.
My choice would probably be:
Stuf.
Motivation:
Can't stand the standard UF's and Stuf is the one if been using lately with most success of my tested ones.

Questhelper or similar is something that probably everyone should consider, even though it offers almost none end-game help.

TipTac
or a similar tooltip mod. I absolutely cannot play without the tooltip anchored to the mouse. Why they haven't incorporated this into the standard UI as an option is beyond me.
Now I anxiously await the reply that tells me how to enable this without an AddOn.

So many replies, yet no mention of recount? Slap the DPS pane in the middle of screen and you're golden.

TitanPanel. It's the first addon I ever used and I can't seem to live without. :P

Recently installed Macaroon. Since I'm a programmer and a macro wizard, that's my favorite.
Now if only I can get it to execute macros with an object on the mouse cursor instead of swapping the macro on the button with the object on the cursor (A completely undocumented "feature" of Macaroon, and a very annoying bug) I'll be happy.
