Yes, contact Blizz. While you are waiting for them to restore your stuff, go online and order an Authenticator. It will arrive at your house before your account is restored.
Specially with their new recovery policy....Be prepared to be offered a "consolation" prize to go with just your character as it is....Either that, or prepare for a potentially multiple-week long wait for your account to be fully recovered....Not to mention what you want fixed with GBank and such. Good luck with it no matter what ends up coming from it^^. And might I suggest never curiously clicking those big boxes on sites related to WoW that may say "GET YOUR GOLD HERE!one!eleven!"....And might I suggest Avast! for your anti-virus software :D.

I haven't heard of these deleting toons. That's just extra work for them. They normally just leave them standing naked somewhere after they've done what they've needed to do.

See my signature for some pointers. Just because you got your account back doesn't mean you're not keylogged. Get your computer cleaned NAO and THEN change your account password. You're likely to get your toons stripped again after they're restored, and then your server's inflated economy will be partially credited to you.
Don't buy gold. Don't buy powerleveling. Don't visit hinky sites. And for crying out freaking loud...GET AN AUTHENTICATOR. Shovel some snow or mow a lawn or walk a dog or shop for an old lady if you have to.

My PC is clean, I have a very powerful AV and i run malwarbytes. deep scans are done NIGHTLY! I have a cisco firewall to protect my network set up also. No i dont have an authenticator, and i dont need to shovel or rake leaves for money. I do pretty good working in the IT world it pays me ok. My system is CLEAN, i am even emailed by my machine if anything is detected. God you have to love these people who read things and think they are experts!
Bottom line, i am getting an authenticator since they are cheap money. as for my machine, its clean. i dont click on any buy gold or any other websites to find ways to make money.

Edit: If you work in IT, then I'm sure you're aware of good password policy, can recognize a phishing email, and know better than to share your account with someone. Therefore, the ONLY other way you got nailed was with a keylogger. Hence, you're not doing something right. Try Spybot S&D. If you're on XP, then SnoopFree is highly recommended.

I'm almost 100% sure that keyloggers, viruses, malware, or anything bad for your PC just appears there.
You had to have been on a bad site, downloaded something that wasn't secure, or been involved in shady activity.

Even running a good up to date AV, doesn't guarantee that your system is clean. I'm also in IT an I've lost count of the number of infections that I had to clean that weren't being clean/detected by AV.
One more thing you can do to check is to download tcpview from sysinternals. That lets you see all the inbound/outbound TCP connections on your system. I've had a couple of instances where all scans were clean but I found something connecting to some suspicious IP address.
Also I'd run a couple of rootkit detection software on your system to see if you have something that is hiding itself from Windows.
Personally, if I was hacked and couldn't find the source of the leak, I'd reinstall my computer from scratch, since I'm paranoid that way.
