Heh, I had an interesting idea for who he would be, but I'm considering scraping it.
And in my eyes The Sever should be on the evil list. But that's just me.

Medivh? Or... *gasp* Kael'Thas?
Though I don't think you can really call him evil if he thinks that he's doing the right thing.

True, but in the eyes of everyone else he might be evil. Take Jigsaw (the guy who I blatently base him off of) for example. He think's he's doing a good thing, but everyone else thinks his a mass murderer.
I cannt tell where he fits regardless, evil character with the holy light at his command?
Scarlet Crusade. Nuff said.

Yah, so objectively he's evil. However, very few people are actually evil. I'd consider Korgan one of those (sort of), because he knew that what he was doing was immoral, just didn't figure he had to care.

And The Sever realizes he's killing people, but he thinks its for their own betterment.
When someone commits evil acts and they refuse to belive that its evil, that makes them even more evil, sick, and twisted.
However, I suppose you could place him in the grayish area of "Lawful Evil."

Now that sounds rational.
The whole thing or just that last bit?

I disagree. If you think killing someone is helping them or the world out, then it's for the greater good, so you're a good person, just mislead. Or you might be insane, in which you would not be responsible for your own actions.

Okay, example:
Hitler.
Do we go around saying "Hitler was insane" all the time, or do we say "Hitler was evil"?

As in not me?
A. Did Hitler do evil things? Yes.
B. Was Hitler evil? I cannot say.
Don't try the Hitler card in this one please.

The Sever isn't truly evil, not like Kali, Dag'rema, Straz and a few of the others; after all, he's letting people escape, he's merely sadistic. Dag'rema tortures and kills people for fun and to farther her own agendas. Kali fed off the pain and suffering of her victims, using their anguish to increase her own powers and abilities, as well as getting off on the suffering. Straz hated the living so he had no qualms about leading the Scourge to kill off the living, and to summon in his 'Master'.
The Master would be seen as evil in the eyes of everyone else... but to him, he was merely doing the world a favour by creating the Plague at first to kill off the weak and pathetic, then those who survived it would be his new race and he would lead them to perfection.... as long as they continued to serve him.

Hm, so thinking on it more... I think I unconsciously modeled Malzenar after
Shockwave
for some of his ideals and experiments.

So since we have some more new people emerging on the boards, and semi-tired of the RP's always being the most active, figured I'd bump up this, and a few other threads to see what happens.
