For someone who doesn't like wasting time and doesn't care what people think, you sure do spend a lot of your time on a forum bashing your opinion into other people, don'tcha'?
This. This. This.

Holy crap, awesome thread became less awesome really quick. The wowhead forums would be so much better if rogues could only post in the rogue forums; would save us all a lot of time scrubbing the stench of arrogance off our hands.
Heroics used to be where people cut their teeth on learning their class. Now... well, ya know what?
They still are
. For everyone who is doing their daily random for their 2 Emblems of Frost you have a few peeps leveling an alt -- usually leveling a new healer or tank to help their guild progress. When the disrespectful DPS with a 2950+ GS decides to set the pace for the run, regardless of what the tank or healer is prepared for, they deny other players the chance to learn. Denying others the chance to learn -- surprise! -- leaves us all with a bigger pool of unskilled players.
Arrogance and selfishness are fine, but anyone with a brain should see -- in their own enlightened self-interest -- that the bigger the pool of decent players the faster the runs in general will be.
And I'd rather get in and out as fast as possible, and certainly not wipe 5 times because you, or the tank, or the healer are terrible.
The way for me, the tank or the healer to get less terrible is to let them learn and to practice. Wiping 5 times today means fewer wipes in the future -- no one gets better without making mistakes.
Don't want to wipe 5 times? Then get yer guildies and do your daily random with them. You get your 2 emblems of frost for doing a random daily, not grouping with random players.

Hell, I have tanked heroic
bosses
from 50-75%
If you're actually proud of this... Well... Thumbs DOWN! Not meaning to spoil your christmas eve, but seriously most tanks I've encountered and myself as tanking is my offspecc, should handle doing about 90-100% of the HC bosses without no heals. Just take the Gundrak HC I did yesterday, we got to the final boss, then the healer went afk without telling us, so there was no way for us to know. I asked if they were ready, and some DPS said "y" and I pulled. When the boss reached 15% I noticed the text "Low Health", that's when I noticed the healer went offline. I simply raised dead and popped Death Pact. No problem at all...
TL;DR:
I got annoyed by zw4512's post and gave him evidence that he sucks.
Oh, and @ OP:
I think your post is... Terrible...
Why shall only the tank pull? I mean, when I'm DPSing on my DK, I might even pull bosses if the tanks are slow, what's the problem really? Just taunt and do some AoE if it's trash, then move on! Hell, I even give these tanks a li'l extra time to do more important business, because, neither have I - time to sit back and watch the tank jump around for no reason. And if I would encounter someone in greens, I sure as hell don't want to group with them, I think I speak for the majority of my Battlegroup when I say this: "We don't want people pulling 800 DPS in our HCs, and we WILL proceed to Vote-to-kick them."
I mean, I was equipped in full WotLK blues (I didn't play at all at any character during TBC which means such an advantage didn't exist for me) and can't for my life understand how you can level all the way to 80 without picking up the blues on the way. By the way, I only did two 5 man dungeons between 70-80, once in the Nexus and once in Azjol-Nerub. If they seriously can't even get the blue quest rewards, what makes you think they can actually contribute to the group? And if you're going to say "Oh, they can contribute with some fun and joking" I must tell you, if you havn't noticed, 80% of these green geared players are either people who has no idea of what the game is about or are dumb 12 year old kids.
"4. Please don't attack a mob I am not attacking, die and then blame me. If you cannot attack the mobs I am attacking and you want to aggro something, then you pulled it you tank it. I taunt it back ONLY to have you attack it again. I'll do this once then you are on your own, I owe it to the other 3 people in the raid to tank for them, not just one person that wants to do their own thing."
So, you're the tank who has never done the instance before and is whining "OMFG ATTACK MY MOB"? I say, learn to AoE tank, not very hard, not very demanding and if it won't work out for you, how about spending 3 seconds of attacks on each mob? Should get you a lot of threat if you just hit all the mobs instead of nuking one and expecting everyone else to do the same.
"Heroic is a group effort"? Are you kidding me? Sure, everyone is needed (except the DPS, they're in easier HCs like VH and Gundrak unnecessary, Yes I've two manned those) but it's not as hard as you have to have like tactics and really work together. I'd say, tank tries to get some aggro, let the DPS pull if they like to, if you're slacking you probably deserve to have a hard time getting enough threat, but the DPS should handle it anyway (except rogues, yes, we all hate rogues) and the healer just comes along and plays healbot. You don't have to syncronize nor really work together, just do it, it gets done sooner or later.
Sorry for the wall of text and perhaps the slightly messy post, but I just felt like I had to flame this post.

The only reason i bothered to read all 6 pages of this fourm is to watch people "Step up to the plate" and get crushed and upset by PessimiStick. Though i dont agree with his personality on this website, it is still pretty funny to watch.
*Clap,Clap* Well done Sir.
To the OP: Thank you sir, This needs to be a stickys with some tweaks here and there. To give those who are new to the game or dont fully understand what should be done in Dungoens to make a tank happy, and the group under control, from a tanks point of view.

Thank you for putting words on a feeling I have had a long time now without getting the chance to express it. Once there was this retardin who threatened me with that he were going to pull if i didnt when we lacked a healer well he wiped and i just sat 50 yards behind him and /facepalmed.

I pull as fast as the GROUP can handle. What part of that don't you understand? Their are 4 others in the run, NOT just you.
But
my
time matters to me, which means I will pull if you don't.
That's the benefit of being either the tank, the healer, or the rogue. I can and will pull, and there's nothing you can do about it.
well guess what mate, if your pulling a mob without the tank knowing or without hes being ready for it there might well as be a chance for a wipe, and dont you think that a wipe would slow you even more down than a tank who pulls slower than what you would expect?
And yeah if the group wants to they can kick you, which means you wont be running through that instance, and you must find urself a new grp, even more time wasted.
I think that playing as a team is the best way to get through an instance faster and mor efficient.
