This is a transitional period so that everyone can get ready for ICC. Lets face it Ulduar was too hard for the majority of people after being spoiled by Naxx. To me, the ToC level instances was kind of a soft reset that let people catch up and prepare for ICC when it comes out (which i imagine will be very difficult as well since it should be the final raid content in this expansion) If ToC was Ulduar-level or harder, it would have been very difficult for stragglers to catch up in time to see ICC.
If you don't like it, honestly there are much more hardcore mmo's then WoW where getting the best gear literally takes several years. After coming from such a game (ffxi) I find the nice mix of casual and hardcore content of wow to be very refreshing.
Lastly the hard mode content in ToC 10/25 is still fairly difficult.

OK you try gearing 3 or 4 fresh 80 alts when icecrown hits and i dare you not to make full use of the new emblem and heroics system to get gear good enough for icecrown, good luck getting into naxx or ulduar and the only thing guilds are going to be doing in toc is finishing up getting non coe raiders geared for ICC.
so please for the love of god(or who ever you worship if you do at all) take of your dumb rose colored glasses, no one cares that you and maybe 5% of the raiders in oldworld wow liked scraping through a instance for days just to get one or 2 epics that showed off your epeen.

Let's see your achievements if the game is so easy now...
You guys have just proved me right at this moment, I said WoW have just gone to achievements and nothing more.
Lets face it Ulduar was too hard for the majority of people ...
Well people think it was kinda hard and I agree it was kinda fun to play Uldar then it came out but that just made it more disappointing to see (and play) ToC and ICC.
OK you try gearing 3 or 4 fresh 80 alts ...
Why the **** shood I do that? I have already done that in 70times and it was Not even fun to have 8alts that have best gear and just play "hardcore".
Honestly, I'd recommend you try FFXI then. Back in my more hardcore days when I had more time, i loved playing this game. It really separates the skilled and unskilled players very quickly as the game is not built to be soloable-levelable and requires that everyone knows their jobs well. Everything in general gameplay-wise is much more difficult, especially tanking. Also gear is very difficult to obtain so if you're one of those few people that have the best gear everyone will be checking you out and be like hot damnnnnn cause they stand out so much.
Otherwise if you're not ready to quit wow then shut up and deal with this wave of easier content. PvE content is fine as it is right now.

How to succesfully troll on Wowhead forums?
1. make a topic with a taunting name, "PVP/PVE/WoW + is dead" work wonders.
2. compose an opening post, which can generally contain total bull^&*!, but it should somehow corespond with the topic name.
3. Flop in from time to time to drop a "you didnt convince me" or "lol your arguments are moot" -type comment.
4. ? ?
5. PROFIT!

I honestly dont think WoW will surviev if the contiou like they have done now.
People that was hardcore before have eather stopped playing WoW or started playing PvP.
Actually, WoW was NOT gonna survive if they went on like they did in WoW vanilla. That game developed into one where people needed both skills and oceans of time to be able to play the final parts of the game. Fun for the top 10%, frustrating for the other 90%.
In TBC they carefully started to work on that, but they noticed that for the first time they were starting to loose players when a large part of the population never was able to play Hyjal Summit and Black Temple (not before it was heavily nerfed anyway).
SO few people had been to Naxx during WoW vanilla, that Blizzard actually was able to re-produce Naxxramas for WotLK, because hardly anyone (<5%) had ever been to that well-designed place when it mattered (lvl60).
So it was either have a really hard game for the dedicated few (1 mln max), or have a game that can be played to full extent by the other 10.000.000 players too. Since Blizzard is still in it for the money, the choice was easy.
So the game is now accessible to the large majority of players, frustrating the top players. Deal with it I say. Be grateful Blizz made hardmodes and heroic modes for the hard-core players.
If not, then move on to a game where you DO need to put in hundreds, even thousands of hours to be able to see the entire game.

They made a perfect blend of casual and hardcore play in WotLK imo. Casuals just kill the bosses in ez mode, while hardcore players go for the achievments (which get you titles, drakes and all that tasty stuff btw), and ofc improved loot.
And I'm also 20+, and I ****ing love PvE in its current state.
O btw, did you know emblems of triumph will drop everywhere instead of emblems of conquest once 3.3 hits? I suggest you prepare your QQ and /crying already. I'll just sit back and gear my dual spec, triple spec and alt.

I love people who don't get to see all content and gear and yet they claim that playing/raiding/gearing in PvE is easy.
