If there'll be another Hero Class sometime, I'm kind of betitng for Demon Hunter. It just seems to fit, in my opinion.

Templars. Specifically designed for Mages. TBH Mages are always overpowered since million years ago.

Man, I can only imagine the backlash from the community for throwing Demon Hunter in WoW. I mean, people already thought it was dumb to be in Diablo 3. I'd hope for something a lot more like Monk or some kind of ranged dps / healing hybrid.
Well, I agree, but there is nothing(as far as I know) like Monks currently in the WoW lore, Demon Hunters have a place in the established lore. Of course, Blizzard could retcon the story to make it fit, and Demon Hunters would, no doubt, be difficult to implement as a class.
I don't doubt, however, that Blizzard could do it if they put enough work into it. Our current "Hero Class" isn't
all that
unbalanced, to be fair.

The problem with adding new classes is making them different enough from the previous ones to make it worth adding.
It's easy to say "Oh, they can add !"... but without fleshing out the idea, you're just talking about cool titles in the end.
What would make a Monk different from a Fury Warrior / Enhancement Shaman?
What would make a Demon Hunter different from a Death Knight / Warlock?
What am I adding to the thread other than a bit of a whine post? secret answer: nothing.

I know a guy who works for blizz, he told me that Blizz is partnering up with Pokemon for the next expansion. A Poke-trainer is going to be the next hero class.

Yeah, but then the mages would get mad about being oppressed by the templars, and some guy with an earring would just blow up the Cathedral of Light, and then there would be demons and....wait, what game are we talking about?

I lol'd. Like, alot.
On-topic: People couldn't think of another balanced class to fit in the lore before Blizzard put the Death Knight in. Well, I'm sure some did, but it wasn't exactly widely accepted. This could/will be no different, they might add in another X class and we'll all be like "Duh, that was obvious right!"

I'm still hoping for Prestige upgrades to the trees rather then new Hero Classes.

Well, if the mage would get mad, they should take a look at the criticisms towards them for the past few years. Mages, if played well, pretty much steamroll melee classes. We are talking about 4.1.0 here, their toolsets are simply too overpowered. I rather fight Hunters / Warlocks than Mages (Frost in pvp). I am a Warrior. Getting snared in ice every 4 -6 seconds is just depressing for any classes.
Introducing Templars into countering Mage would be a good solution in a rock-scissors-paper concept. If Mage is designed into countering warriors, why not have a separate class specially for Mages? I can confidently say that, there is NO classes at the moment can effectively fight a well played mage.
Templars:
1. They are able to stun mages from distance. (same as mages' range)
2. They are specifically designed for mages and mana users, so giving them abilities which can burn off mana would be appropriate. (Don't get me started on Priests.)
3. A cooldown based ability which grants a major spell resistance for a short duration.
4. Interrupts for spells is a must.
Of course, this is way too much without certain weaknesses.
1. They are weak against physical damages (maybe giving them armor types other than plates)
2. Continuing from point 1, meaning they are weak versus rogues, warriors, hunters, and DKs.
3. Their stat requirements might need to be higher than most classes.
