When Thrall fought Orgrim he used a sword...how %^&*y is that?
Thralls a gladiator trained and shaman taught, so he mixed hybrid class, unique to any other.
So to say a warrior should be leading them horde, when one was trained as a warrior and fighter since he was a child, how much more 'warrior' do you want?

I dub thee, Defender of Thrall!
Tho you can agree he needs a makeover...
I think they intend to develop Thrall in cataclysm to show just why he is a great leader.
I don't even know what you want as a leader, maybe someone who thinks irrationally and impulsive, without thought or planning, just for the effort of wanting to pwn someone?
Put it this way, if Thrall was a raid leader, he'd look up all tactics on boss encounters and then sort how to position everyone.
If Garrosh was a raid leader, he'd run into the boss as arms warrior, telling all classes with healing powers to heal him, all cloth wearers to make bread and water, and then when the raid wipes blame it on them.

I think the sad thing, is that there are actual players that behave like that...
That certainly would explan there liking for an irrational moron for a leader.

Hmm.. I read the blue post.. and I still don't like it. It seems in an effort to push things ahead there changing so much in the horde, replacing both main faction leader that everyone admires, and one who hasn't been given any time to develop, though that might change in cata.. though he won't be leader of the tauren anymore.
I still stand by what I've said before, playing the horde with someone like Garrosh leading it will just make me regret it each time I log in. I can understand change, but changing things for the sake of something short hand like more warring in warcraft isn't the best.
If there was an option to leave the horde and join Thrall as a third faction I would do it.
I totally agree with you.
Something tells me my Blood Elf Paladin is turning into a Dwarf anytime soon.

I don't quite get that reaction. I think it would be more like:
Garrosh: New Alliance sympathizers! *eyes light up* Banshee, lead your Forsaken to Gilneas and destroy them!
Sylvanas: Excellent! Faranell will get to try out that new barbecue sauce that he's been working on.
Garrosh: Barba-what?
Sylvanas: Oh...never mind...
(licks lips)
Are you somehow saying that the Undead are Chinese?

I wonder if Cannibalize works on dogs.

In interview with Chris Metzen, Metzen revealed that Sylvanas was ordered to move south into Gilneas because the Horde wanted a port in northern Lordaeron. Metzen mentioned that Sylvanas was "in the dog house" with the Horde after the Wrathgate events and has to move when the leadership of the Horde orders her to do so. Off of her Cata page, and I doubt Thrall would give an order like that, so it's gotta be Garrosh.
