OMG this is the BEST idea for a game I've heard of in a long time. I think it stand a real chance to take WoW off it's thrown. I've been waiting for a game just like this! I can't wait to explore the town of Forks, Washington. Forget that spider man crap where all you get is new york city. This game will finally give me the freedom I've always wanted to roam through completely un-inhabited forests for as far as the eye can see! I can't wait to play vampire, and fall in love with an outcast girl in this virtual adventure!
although i cant tell if he is joking or not he dose have a point. with all the popularity twilight has it might actually have enough people to play it to rival wow. although it might not do it for long.

Apples and oranges :>. Twilight's a book, WoW's an MMO.
Well, that's how it used to be >.>.
WoW is part of a franchise. Which branched into books, MMOs etc.
Why can't any other franchise do the same?
LoTR was a book, turned into a film, now there is an MMO. Same principle applies, surely.

A poor choice of a MMO, I think (Like stated at the bottem of the page) there should be a Harry Potter MMO before it. Harry Potter has far more potential (Spells,magic and minigames). I read the first book of Twilight and it just doesnt seem like it would work. Hogwarts seems far bigger than the town in Twilight also.

The twilight series, while being a fun and quick read, has absolutely no substance suitable for an MMO. What most MMO's have in common is their vast expanse of lore. WoW, LoTRl, KOTOR, WAR, UA...hell, even Eve! Twilight offers no such lore, other than what the game developers would have to make up on the spot. because of this, there's no way to reasonably create a realistic world online.
What else do these MMO's share? EPIC adventure, and a grand story. So what? a vampire falls in love with some random girl? sorry folks, but that is FAR from epic. it's interesting to read about (if you're a 14 year old girl), but that by no means it's grounds to make a game after, least of all an MMO - which requires players to spend a lot of time in that world.
Finally, if you're GOING to make a MMO about vampires.....WHY twilight? even underworld has a better story, better lore, and more epic encounters. even better, how about the anne rice series? who wouldn't want to play as lestat!...OR, you could even make an entire MMO out of the Vampire: The Mascaraed!
There are a billion better books, stories, series', movies, legends and myths (including harry potter...can't believe I'm saying that) that would make fantastic MMO's...but instead, they decided to make the game about the ONE story that is the least interesting and most removed from the gaming community. GG.

PS, to the poster who wasn't sure if I was being sarcastic earlier....I hope you have your answer.
Underworld would even be a better MMO, it has Vampires and Werewolves like Twilight but its acctualy good. Also there is a major flaw within this MMO (assuming you play as a vampire which if you dont the suckish level will rise higher than ever) then you cannot go out in the day or you swill sparkle.
