lol this was rushed, mages the biggest wimps? dodgiest? hmmm...sounds like someone plays on a server that has a huge alliance to horde ratio (assuming ur alli). My answer is no, we're not, rogues are notorious "wimps" but every class has "those" players that wait till you pull 4-5 mobs to attack, or in ur case unbuffed and such in a "battleroyal" ring...not a great idea being in ther if u arnt comfortable with ur abilities.
i'm not so sure that it's that rogues are "notorious wimps", but it's part of their class mechanics and really.. part of the lore behind rogues.. Rogues are supposed to attack you, burn you down before you really know what the hell just happened, and than disappear to leave you staring at your corpse going "wait..what?"

Or if a fight isn't going there way they can use evasion / cloak / sprint / X cc's / vanish to simply leave.
That's why they're notoriously wimpier :P
So, if a fight isn't going away, and you have Frost Nova and Instant-Invis off cooldown, you're not gonna use it?

Sounds to me like you got out played by someone better than you and now you try to vent some nerd rage by claiming you wasn't ready and was completely helpless after a respec.
You were at Gurubashi, a place dedicated to killing and being killed, it's not like there are any mobs to take your attention or anything. Being at Gurubashi and NOT be prepared to fight sounds pretty stupid to me, since it's the only objective. If you really DID respec and put yourself in a vulnerable situation, inside a place dedicated to pvp, it's even more stupid..
Rule of thumb on a pvp realm (or in a place like Gurubashi), AFK means A Free Kill. If you make yourself a sitting duck you should expect to be killed on sight, don't blame the killer that you chose to be an easy target.

Nelf rouge - Stealth out of nowhere and 1-Shot me wiht ambush...
Nub rogue.. A pro rogue would have used Kick, interrupting your cast for a couple of seconds and watched you get eaten by the tiger for 10% durability loss..

A few quick points:
1) I mean this with all sincerity and due respect. QQmoarpaladin. I literally can't begin to describe my feeling about someone current rerolling a paladin. If you've been a pally since BC, sure. My aplogies. If you're a Wrathadin.... QQ moar.
2) Complaining about mages running from fights is as sad as complaining that rogues can vanish or that druids can heal. It's the mechanics of the class.
3) Blink the Hand of Freedom, eat the hammer. GG you.
4) I walked into IF alone yesterday and stayed for a good few hours. I finally went to bed after my sixth death, 47 level 80 HKs (I won't count anyone under 80. That's boring.) and around 3k honor gained. I repeatedly faced multiple Alliance players while fighting off their guards (including, occasionally, the super hard hitting Thief Catcher guy. Hate him.) My point? Even if the mages you've experienced are wimps, not all of us are. Not even close.
5)QQmoarpaladin. Sounds unfair, yeah.... But you are a paladin. I doubt you've tried a balanced even once with others..... Ever.
