For anyone reading the engineering 1-300 guide from lvl 150-175 it says use fireworks which im pretty sure are a recipe from a certain wow holiday so iron struts and aquadynamic fish attractors seem to work...

Still doesn't matter since as I said at first, there are cheaper ways to level up your proffessions even if you are at 70 as I used the example of 310-320 leatherworking. The addition of the Heavy Knothide Armor Kit is also cheaper in every way then what the guide suggests. You have to remember that some professions have had some major changes in order to improve their levelling (less mats needed and range level of some patterns).
The guide was probably written before the mats needed to make the armor kits where nerfed and was optimal at that time.

This is true. When I leveled Engineering from 300-375, I noticed that the mats I had anticipated on using were not needed and that some Schematics could be used a little longer.

You can take all secondary professions you want without any restriction. Those are cooking, first aid and fishing.
You are only limited in primary professions (all others, except lockpicking which is class dependant) from which you can only take two.

Dude, check the Professions skills page, there you'll see that Spellfire tailoring gives bonus to Fire and Arcane damage, and that Shadoweave gives bonus to Shadow and Frost damage.

I personally find the Herbalism guide very helpful...and I tend to go with orange recipes anyway, so these guides arent so bad for me. Thanks for helpin' me out, i was getting sick of having 12x professions at 70...So I recently started skilling up, then I got stuck (248 alch 218 herb) so I searched for a guide, and here I am.
Gracias, Senor.
