ok bring on the hate for the opinion i am about to give
ok. i myself am not an avid flamer, but i do on occasion get annoyed with constant questions that get asked and spammed to oblivion even when either
A. i have already answered it
B. the information is easily obtainable if they would just take advice from the sensible people like "get questhelper its great" or "check wowhead/wowwiki etc"
and the fact of the matter is that these type of questions are asked Constantly no matter where you are, and those "5 people" or the flamers may have been subjected to this kind of questioning all day and like me can get really annoyed with them not paying attention to advice
but there is the other side being that they could be complete #$%^&*!s but its hard to tell

1 it gets old to see "when is the next WG battle" when you can check to see when it starts no mater what zone you in from the map. Yes even in ironforge or orgimar. To do so you right click on your map to make it expand your selection areas untill you can see northrend, now you click on northrend, and then click on winter grasp. Wow look you can see the time the next battle will start.
Uhh mate, have you actually ever tried doing this? I think you will find that the timer only shows on your map if you are in Northrend...
Yes I have. and yes it gives me the time. i get the timer no mater what zone im in.
If you have looked at the map while in Northrend you will still see the timer when you check the map from outside Northrend, but the timer won't update. If it was, say, 1h 14m to go when you last looked, it will just keep showing that time until you go back to Northrend and refresh it.
If you didn't look at the map before leaving Northrend you won't see a timer at all when looking at the map from outside Northrend.

Any time I have ever checked it outside of Northrend the timer will be wrong. Once without thinking I thought I had 45 minutes so I kept on working the AH only to port back to Dal and the fight was long over with and we had lost.
