Wait what? So the Blood Knights aren't paladins, and the Draenei aren't shamans?

-His enemies are closer to him than Varian's enemies (If the Silverwing Sentinels overcome the Warsong Outriders it is all over for Org - The Forsaken AND the Blood Elves are stationed very far from Stormwind and Ironforge.) More importantly, Org can be brought in a pincer attack from the Stormwind armada and a combined effort between the Exodar and Darnassus.
There's something pretty important you're forgetting here, and that's Thunder Bluff. If the Silverwing Sentinels did take the whole of Warsong Gulch, and then decided to press the attack on Orgrimmar, they'd be fighting a battle on two fronts, and would be subsequently destroyed.
Then there's the matter of a multi-pronged attack on Orgrimmar from Stormwind, the Exodar and Darnassus. Again, we're forgetting Thunder Bluff. The Tauren would easily be able to press an attack into Ashenvale without the aid of Orgrimmar, thus effectivley cutting off one side of the attack. And Orgrimmar would be able to hold off an armada from Stormwind with a fleet of their own, or with a fleet of zeppelins.
No, to truly win in a pincer style attack, it would have to cut off the routes between Thunder Bluff and Orgrimmar. The Crossroads and Camp Taurajo would have to be taken out. That task would fall to Theramore and Darnassus, more than likely. And even then, they'd need Stormwind and the Exodar to press an offensive on the flanks of Orgrimmar and Thunder Bluff to be victorious in it.

You can't count out the numerous side-factions that would play a part.
The Scourge, the Burning Legion, even the Goblins of Undermine would take advantage. And the midst of war and chaos would be a perfect oppertunity for the first two of that three to take advantage of the Horde and Alliance.

For the purpose what their discussing here, they've been saying the Scourge is destroyed, the Legion is off somewhere else which is why they don't take advantage of it.
As for the Goblins, I think they would remain as they have been since the third war: Neutral, selling to both sides and making profit.
But as for the Thunder bluff thing, it's a good city and would help if the alliance was marching to Durotar through barrens, but beyond that, because of where it is, middle of the Barrens, Stonetalon, Desolace surronding it, with the high mountain walls, it wouldn't be a good place to stage an assault. Of course on the other hand, if the enemy had gained a firm foot hold in those zones, they could come down over the mountains and lay siege to Thunder bluff, effectifly boxing up the entire Tauren population (yes I know they could port out with mages, but your seeing what I'm saying.) Heck, if you control the Camp in the Barrens, you can seal only easy way out of Mulgore.

Just because we don't see them in WoW doesn't mean that there aren't any mountain passes the Tauren could move a large force through. In fact, I think it would bring a cool dynamic to the game if Blizzard were to put some in, you know, make the world like Metzen probably truly envisions it... The idea that a zone surrounded by mountains wouldn't have more than one pass is setting up for ultimate destruction if an invading force were to set it's sights on the area.

Well I'm sure there are other paths, I'm just saying if the Alliance get to those pathways first, they can lock the Tauren into Mulgore fairly easy.

Actually the elevators are a two way threat, yes the Taurens could easily stop invaders, but on the reverse, if the Alliance pushes to the city it would be easy for them to lay siege and starve the people in the city. Espically if they had a way to stop both the windriders and the portals from being useful.
The Orb trick wouldnt work for Alliance, that is object is keyed to Horde energy signatures, but that wouldn't stop them from waiting at the orb if they've taken Undercity and were laying siege to Silvermoon, after all if the elves try to escape through the orb they would be cut down as they came into undercity.
Ogrimaar is another easy city to lay siege on, if the Alliance hits the back door, yes the Horde can blow up the bridge, but it would also mean they cut off an escape route. And of course would be child's play to bottle up most of the Orc's there in the city from the front, espically if they destroy the Zepplin tower.
And again, going with the idea that somehow the windriders and portals have been negated.
