Secondly, in a group you are there to help each other, ninjas USE the group.
Oh don't delude yourself. You wouldn't go into the instance unless you wanted something
from the instance
-- a quest reward, a piece of loot, reputation, emblems ... Whatever it is, the
only
reason you want to go in there is because
you, personally
want something, and the only way to achieve that something is to team up with others. You use the group as much as a ninja uses the group. Just because you don't ninja, it doesn't put you in any better a position just from that argument you're trying to present.
EDIT: This is not necessarily true in guild runs, but that's an irrelevant argument because ninjas happen there.
i run instances because i enjoy them and i dont care for loot >.> <.< yeah i know scary right?

(Happend to me a few times, put in a ticket and the next day I had my mats waiting in the mailbox and a message saying the scammer got a 24 hour ban) :>
You're lying about something here cause Blizzard *never* informs you of the punishment of another player.

Its really disturbing how ppl seem to think its ok to ninja loot.
Im actually considering just doing it myself, for my own benefit and perhaps my friends.
Heck why not? Noone gives a #$%^, blizzard cant do anything about it.
The server is overpopulated so what if a few ppl yell around in dalaran that im a ninja. It will be forgotten the next day. Or better yet, just do a rename.
God DAM! Think if everyone would act like this, pure anarchy. But who cares, ppl think to enjoy lawlessness online.
You know... I never thought of it this way. =P
I don't think they should even TRY to make ninja looting illegal, until there's a clear cut way for blizzard to define what "ninja looting" even is. Only then would there be a way for blizzard to enforce it anyways.
That's not to say I would ninja loot, I personally feel it's wrong. That being said, there's no current way for them to enforce it, it'd just make the already long waits for GM action even longer.
Edit: Typos, and re-worded a sentence to more accurately reflect my view.
