Hi everybody!
So this week's debate is going to be MUCH more light-hearted than all the other ones, because... well, because I feel like it. So there.
Who would win in a fight? Superman or The Hulk?
Ignore the first 3-4 pages. they were about Superman and Iron Man. Superman won... lame.
What's your take on the matter?

Superman is the most suckish hero ever.
Iron Man would win because he would most likely be able to get some kryptonite.

Then it's an unfair fight. Iron Man wouldn't be able to get Superman's
only
weakness.

Iron Man lost to Thor.
Superman wins.

Superman wins, Iron Man can't get Kryptonite, they don't have it in his universe. Iron Man is made out of Iron, Superman is made out of Super, go figure.
By that logic, they don't have Superman in his universe, so the fight would never happen.

Thor would beat Superman. Well, if you assume that Thor is a God. Literally.

Superman would win. He overcomes technology aimed to stop him time and time again, and ironman is no different. Unless, hypothetically, ironman covered his suit in kryptonite. Even so superman would figure out a work-around like he always seems to do. Ironman is strong, but in the end his suit is only metal, and I'm pretty sure superman can bend that stuff.
I think ironman could defend himself for a while, but nothing offensive would really hurt superman. I can defiantly see where someone could argue the other way.

Kryptonite. Period. Superman is down, whining to his pappy.

They both lose to Superpowergirl.

Kryptonite isn't superman's only weakness. There's also the whole "getting beat to death" thing. Doomday killed him without kryptonite.
Iron man lost to Thor... but thor is a god, what do you expect?
Doomsday is from Krypton. Someone from Krypton can kill someone else from there by beating them to death. A human can't, which is why we have Kryptonite.

Oh please. "God" in comic books is an obtainable level and in no way the highest tier of power, and you all know it.
But seriously, Superman vs Iron Man? Why not just have Iron Man fight Magneto?

God is someone who has no limits and is omnipotent, unless in this situation God has a different meaning, than no, there are no highest level of power available.
Superman would lose. Kryptonite.

Nah. I don't think it works like that. Yeah, he's from Krypton and was super powerful. But just the fact that he was from Krypton isn't the reason he could beat up Superman. I mean, if someone else was as strong as Doomsday, they could do it too. I think Iron man could be that strong.
What I meant was; only people from Krypton are strong as Doomsday. Superman is a ridiculous superhero.

Marvel "Gods" have died before, and Thor is only a "God" because of his constant consumption of "Golden Apples".

@sagramor
If you have to use the kryptonite stance, why hasn't he been defeated by Lex Luthor the 100,000 times he tried to use it?
edit: and no
suit
changed that.

Fine, let's assume Marvel's Thor does not fall into the definition of a God. He could still beat Superman. Kryptonite.

Is Lex Luthor dead, or even hurt?
Exactly.
Superman defeats Luthor's plan to conquer the world, then steps back.
