You can now use our brand new tool to check out the full, 3D models of items and NPCs in the database! We have both a lower quality Flash version and a bigger, more detailed version in Java. We're still working on player armor and player models, but we thought you'd want to play with it right away. :)

What is your PayPal address? And what is the currency conversion for hugs to USD?
P.S. Fun fact: mouse wheel zooming doesn't work in Safari under OS X in either the Flash viewer or applet. Bad buzz!
P.P.S. Doesn't work in Firefox under OS X, either. I knew Safari did some weird stuff in terms of scroll wheel input in frames, block elements and embedded objects, but I didn't think Firefox had the same behavior. This leads me to believe that it's the programmer's fault! Yay.

Is this a precursor to the character profile system? ^_^
Edit:
Mounted NPC's don't appear correctly.
http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=16062
NPC's are automatically centered at the feet in flash mode. There doesn't seem to a way to move the plane of view, making it difficult/awkward to obtain a good view.

Tanglewood Staff

Shows the model for a random golem, not the staff itself (or equipped on that mob model).
Using - (Xp 32bit/Firefox 2.0/both Java and Flash)

Hump, very nice, but one feature is missing :
move the Object/NPC inside the frame
(ok, i didn't see the java version before >_<)
Some models are incorect, such as
carved witch doctor's Stick
(which's the 2.3.0 one, for the moment).
Weapon texture doesn't appear on
Mothe Shahraz weapon's
(in Java)
Illidari Council
shows ... untextured supremus o_O
High Warlord Naj'entus
is also untextured
There are some problems with
Gurtogg Bloodboil
colours (java version only)
Also some problems on Archimonde model (his shoulders appears twice)

Quite excited when I saw this, but alas none of it works in opera, and I hate using IE just to view one site :(
I have flash installed on opera but I get a blank window, if I right click I get all the flash options though.
The java one comes up with an error "Class not found: modelview.ModelViewerApplet.
I'd tried it in IE, the flash one is acting strangly and the model has pink lines all over it.. the java one is perfect however... excellent work!
