local raid = oUF:SpawnHeader('Raid', nil, "raid,party,solo",
'oUF-initialConfigFunction', (]):format(63, 23),
'showPlayer', true,
'showSolo', true,
'showParty', true,
'showRaid', true,
'xoffset', 8, <--- remove this line
'yOffset', -8, <----- change this line to a positive number
'point', "LEFT",
'groupFilter', '1,2',
'groupingOrder', '1,2',
'groupBy', "GROUP",
'maxColumns', 8,
'unitsPerColumn', 5,
'columnSpacing', 6,
'columnAnchorPoint', "BOTTOM"
)
-- to / from
raid:SetPoint("BOTTOM", UIParent, "BOTTOM", 0, 90)
Look above. Anyway this just defines the size and placing/ordering of the little player frames, not their positioning (apart from the last line). There should be something else around like:
if numraid >5 then
raid:SetPoint....
else
edit: it's pretty much cthe code i use for my raidframes^^ just display 5 groups.

Since the pictures, i have put micro menu on mouse over, and fixed some alignment with the bars.
To do:
Learn my dang key bindings so i can hide them
Learn how to hide chat tabs (or put them on mouse over)
Try a pixel font, and see how i like it
Deal with those crappy actions bars on the right
Make tiptac look better
Nothing ground breaking, but criticism would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help. This is what I originally had, a "hack" so to speak to auto position the raid frames by creating a frame, registering some events and changing position of the raid frames accordingly. It worked, but it's not ideal and should be able to position them correctly via the anchors. I think I managed to do it however, anchored it from the bottom left and it seems to be okay so far, will have to check next time I'm in a raid :)

Anyone familiar with oUF raid frames and the oUF initial configuration stuff? I have my raid frames as I want, but the frame doesn't stack anchored properly and it moves dependant on how many groups are in the raid. Tried playing with the anchors but not having much luck, just need them to start on the left, grow to the right until 5 members then stack on top. Kinda have this.. but the original anchor keeps moving :/
These are 5 man setup
, as they can see they are aligned properly. However
in 10 man
they shift down. These are shop'd images as I never had any to hand but just illustrating what's happening.
I'm just here to say: I think those party frames are dead sexy... I'll be "borrowing" the idea when I eventually get the urge to play again. *bow*
Though I'll still be using Stuf, so we'll see how that works out...

Here's my effort.
I'm probably taking a different direction to others. I actually like the WoW UI Style and just wanted to enhance it to give more screen space.
Solo
Raid
I haven't setup my raid, party frames or timers properly yet but it's starting to look nice imo.
The timers are now in a nice frame.

As much as I don't like that border style, you make it work very well; your UI is clean and organized. A few suggestions, though:
- You have quite a bit of overlapping and clutter going on under your minimap.
-The frame around your DoT timers are not sized properly, fixing that will make them look much nicer.
-Maybe put a border around the micro-menu to fit the rest of the UI.

Yeah it's still very much Work in Progress. Every time I log in I end up tweaking something.
I know it's not to everyones taste, but for me I like that fact that it has the same look and feel as the rest of the Blizzard UI.
It's far from perfect and it's only my first effort really. I've only just got to grips with kgpanels.
Since the first post I've moved the Boss frames to remove the overlap and the DoT Timers have a border (
Here
).
I tried making the kgpanel auto adjust it's size depending in it's content but sadly fortexorcist's anchor doesn't seem to increase in size with the timer bars. :(
I still need to sort out the Raid Frames and Party Frames too :(
Trouble is, if you aren't careful you spend more time fiddling with UI stuff than actually playing!

WoW! no pun intended :P
I really really like that UI!
Mind sharing what mods and how you have it set up like that?

Sure, no problem.
KG Panels is doing all the art. All the Blizz style borders are a KG Panel anchored to the item it surrounds. The Texture behind the Main Buttons is also KG Panels using a set of textures from one of the
Sunn Viewport Texture Packs
. The Blizz Gryphons are a KG Panel using textures from
SharedMedia-Blizzard
.
Button Bars are Bartender4 with Renaitre: Fade Button Facade skin.
Minimap is Sexymap set to Faded Square with a KG Panel anchored to it (plus another above it for the Location Text).
Chat mod is Chatter.
All the little Data mods are LDB Plugins with Fortress to display and bunch them together.
The DoT Timers and Cooldown Timer is ForteXorcist.
That's about it really. Omen and Skada (DMG Meters) in the bottom right. DBM for Boss timers.
Pixel Font is Supernatural 001 and all other fonts are set to Expressway Free.
A few little tweaks -

I keep forgetting to put a panel behind that Eavesdrop frame :/

Polishing the turd. Chat needs a panel, buffs need a panel, SLDT needs better alignment and I need to do measuring.
Whatever.

Chat doesn't need a panel, buffs doesn't need a panel (or do you mean skin?) and SLDT is debatable. What's with the unit frames (Ishtara <'3)? You need to remember about tooltips too.

@Saft:
Thank you.
@iLive:
I'm still working on it. Chat needs a panel because TukUI has gotten me adjusted to it it, and I'm struggling to read otherwise. The unitframes are inspired by Ish with a bit of Saft, and my tooltip is complete, l2look at it.
As for the buff panel I'm talking about, the 3px 50% opac border on everything.
Edit: Is there a way to put a button texture on powa aura spell icons?
Edit Edit: And before some minimalist calls it out, I have durability on only for the auto-repair. It needs to be shown for it to work. If someone wants to find me an addon that auto-repairs, auto-accepts/res, removes standard blizzard raid arrow thing, and gets rid of group/guildgroup flags, I'd love you.

Yes, go edit the CreateAura function. (at least is what i've seen/done)

aaaand
IstanceDifficulty:Hide()
GuildInstanceDifficulty:Hide()
EDIT: working on my new layout, i think i got the twist on it. Is it possible to change the alpha of the staturbars? Krow gave me inspiration.

Krow
I'm sure it'd be possible with OUF or TukUI, it'd be quite complex with Stuf though.
Raid shot incoming after next post.

edit: if i've not mistaken, the power bar is around the portrait, right?
