In between my power gains and incoming damage is healing received. The big gap in the bottom right corner is where recount usually is. Guess I forgot it that run.
My own castbar is directly under my portrait. But I dont cast a lot as prot ;)
Probably should move that divine plea thing somewhere else. Doesnt bother me much but doesnt look very neat as I look at it now.
Maybe topscreen centre...
Edit: And thinking about it, might move down party frames and put aura's above them in the black bar.

Your PitBull party frames seem kinda usless, since you have grid frames already showing the same people. Also, those scary black bars of death really don't do much except take away a huge section of vision that could prove to be important to see especially in raids. Your chat also seems a bit tall, and for some reason your auras are all the way across the screen from your regular buffs.

In 5-mans I like to keep track of who is hitting who, so I can identify if I'm not keeping aggro because I am not doing my job or the dps is targetting the wrong mob. Also their castbars can give some hint on how they play and stuff. In raids it would be too much and their its turned off.
In raids the buffs get out of hand, thats why I seperated the timeless aura buffs. Though like I said, Im thinking of moving them closer (top/bottom)
The black bars are CBH_Viewport and they arent cosmetic they increase how much I can see left and right. It does sacrfice some viewing pleasure on whats in front of me, but that section is still large so its worth increase my horizontal view.
As for the chat, agreed I just like to be able to see a few more lines I guess.
Thanks for your input. Always nice to hear what other people think.

Edit: Changed the buff display a little. Now uses my own buffs with a 1 pixel transparent white border, along the right. Also got a no-target shot.

All I can say is, I want... really... really bad... Let me have it? D= All I'd need is one more bar (being a DK) and I'd be oh so pleased.

i need your halpz! help me get my ui clean + functional, for pvp :D
-Top cast bar is focus, next one is approximate healing the target will receive if its a heal i am casting, bottom is my cast bar
- debuffs are big so i can dispel faster (filtered to curable only )
-gladius is below my character unitframe
-all skills are keybound, but ones without cds/macros are not shown :D
-I also use spell alert, lose control, and dispel announcer, so sometimes my screen can get a little cluttered...
any suggestions?

hey kaitain, your grid setup. from what I see, it holds up to 15 people or 3 parties in your setup. does it rescale to fit as you gain more people in your raid? if so, what on earth are you using because i like alot :P.
I use a series of macros like this to rescale the grid frame:
/grid gridFrame advanced frameheight 60
/grid gridFrame advanced fontsize 11
/grid gridFrame advanced cornersize 13
/grid gridFrame advanced iconsize 20
and have a different macro with different numbers for each layout:
10 man
15 man
25 man
40 man
not got a pic for 2v2 setup... but the 2 frames fill that space. lol. Very user friendly though.
(i have reduced the size of my unit frames and re-arranged a bit since i took these screenshots)
As a side note - there is a line or 2 i editted in the GridFrame.lua to make it let me frames of any size (i.e. larger than 100 pixels). It's not hard to find. It's a bit where it mentions maxheight = xxx

You've made a good start i think, and you have most of the right addons.
Just try to shrink/reduce/remove info you aren't actually reading/using in combat.
So:
Do you use minimap much in combat? if not, shrink it and hide buttons.
Do you read chat much in combat? if not shrink it as much as you can.
Do you click any of those action bars? if not shrink them as much as possible. If you use them for veiwing CDs i suggest maybe an addon like Ghost Pulse to pull the vital CD info moments into your HUD area.
your unit frames contain a bit too much text for PvP. You rarely need to see people's maximum mana. Other than for simple "is that pally Retri?" type checks you don't need to see a constant reminder of ppl's mana pool size, and even for that purpose Current mana is fine. Ditto HP. So current mana and HP only. Level could be got from tooltips as most ppl are 80. Class from bar colour. Race just remove. After all that is out you could probably shrink the overall size of the frames a bit.
For your layout - just try to avoid situations where your eyes have to criss cross the screen during combat. It's not helpful. As such a lot of people go for HUD type layouts where the main unit frames are below their character.
How do you heal groups btw? where does your raid frame sit?

Different, I must say. But I would find it just too annoying to change it every different raid type.

You must switch raids frequently. To me, 1 click every few hours is not annoying.

split up msbt I would say. All those heals and power ticks? Better to shove those aside somewhere. Right now your entire screen is cluttered with it.

Always been too hesitant to post, but:
Raid UI
A few things that you cannot notice from this: (1) I have power auras for when each ability comes off CD , (2) I sometimes (read: often) have to go resto, which is why Grid is fairly large, and (3) I have no idea why my pet ability bar was way down there.
