So Moses, Adam and Eve, and all those people have nothing to do with Christianity?

On another note, have you heard about the supposedly removed homoerotic part of the bible involving Jesus? Laihendi did and thought it was funny... he doesn't know the credibility of it though.

I was saying that atheists would just look beyond the whole irrational thing and just followed the rules that religion gave us, we would all be better.
Its probably not a personal attack as such, but when you say stuff like this, it comes across as very "I'm right, my religion is what should define others choices and beliefs, and you're a fool to think otherwise".
For the most part, we do follow "rules" that have been set down by religion, in that things such as murder, rape and theft are punishable not only by divine law, but also by society. Our law systems are based off morals set in place by religion.
However, lifestyle choices outside of this fundamental law system I think we should be free to choose whether to follow religious teachings, or choose how we desire to live by our own decisions. Personally I find a lot of it to be a bit of brainwashing, for which the church has been responsible for committing for a long time.
You may have expressed it differently to what you intended through a limited grasp of english (which I'm not getting stuck into you about).
Yea, I did, thank you. I realize my statement was a bit biased, for that I apologize.
So the traditions of one religion are imperfect but yours is perfect.
You really don't understand the difference between religions, and the three major religions, do you? The three are but different forms of one thing. They all worship pretty much the same God. They were just aimed at people of different times.
Sorry I took so long to answer, I really have limited internet access at the time.

Judaism is not one of the three major religions.

Hmm...
Christianiy - 33%
Islam - 21%
Hindiusm - 14%
Buddhism - 6%
Judaism - 0.22%
Just because a religion isn't prominent in western culture doesn't mean it's not one of the major religions.

So you are saying that it is? that is what we are trying to say.
edit: oh, sorry, misinterpreted that. We are not saying the thee are major because of number. I guess the term wasn't really correct, what I was trying to say was that they are all linked.

Judaism has very little direct influence, it's primarily through Christianity and Islam. And Hinduism has a lot of influence in the East, where Christianity has relatively little. The whole world isn't like America and Western Europe.

It doesn't now, but it did 3000-4000 years ago.

But... that was 4,000 years ago :x

Well, if something had a huge influence on things 4000 years ago, then it probably influenced how the world is today.
