That's the future. Machines are great for storing large amounts of information, but organic brains are infinitely better for making connections between specific things. That's what makes our human brain so revolutionary is how many connections we can make between things. We can hear a sound, and connect that sound to a word, and break that into a sequence of characters, or we can think about what that sound means, and think of objects relating to that.

Machines cant do that because they are not programmed to do it, yet.
And there are already word recognition softwares.. although they are not that powerful yet.

Also that was 3 years ago, and its a vista.
Yes, you'd have to program a lot, when the brain can adapt and learn without having to be programmed.

Im not sure what the main goal with this system is, but in the beginning it will start with machines doing more and more work and maybe within our lifetime money will die out. Guns wont be produced.
ROFL.
Okay, so no guns.
I go and get a heavy object and kill my neighbor for their nice things. What now? Is someone going to stop me? If so, they're going to need a weapon at least as good as mine. Eventually, people start coming up with ideas for better and better weapons. Pointy things for stabbing, slicey things for slashing, etc. Then someone realizes that if you can kill them before the get close enough to stab them with the pointy rock, so they invent a device composed of string and wood for firing pointed projectiles...
And eventually we're back to mutually assured destruction.
You can't count on people to obey the rules. Ban guns, missiles, whatever you want, and then all your left with is the people who don't obey the rules. And they have guns and missiles. They might be incredibly hard to get, but people will do very many things for money, and if there is no money, they'll do them for better things than they currently have.
How do you think RPGs get onto the black market?
The only way to completely ensure that people will obey the rules is to go all 1984 on them and constantly make them obey.
You can't count on trusting people to do the right thing. People like me will just abuse it.

Yes but we dont really need a robot that can associate forest with green, we need machines that do our jobs, machines are taking new kind of jobs every year and its not gonna stop.
Before you argue about something you dont know about, watch 2 hour movie and maybe it will affect you the same way as it did with my guildmate i talked about in the first post.
Yes, a robot associating forest with green is exactly what we need. We already have machines that can do brainless manual work, what we need are robots that can process things and react differently.
