this was a pug
10 people were from the same guild then the rest were all puggies
they kicked me because of a PUG...A PUG
my GM wasn't in the raid but 2 officers were and they got mad or something because i wasn't leaving fast enough, ( i was taking to RL who was from another guild)
how could i..... one person of a guild.... determine how the other people act
it's not like u see one person in a store acting weird and assume that everyone esle in the store is weird
Yes but lets say you are on a football team and you do drugs and spend time with ladies of the night. People find out. Wouldn't your team be embarrassed of you because of how poorly you are representing them?
Your analogy is no where near the situation. A raid is a team effort and if it's a PUG you represent your guild. If you are rude and die a lot people will think that your guild is horrid.
I remember when I went to a 25 man Naxx and I died a lot because of my computer not being able to handle everything on low. I felt bad because I made my guild look bad. The next week I got a new computer and I topped the DPS meters in every way.
In turn I got a lot of people whispering me about my guild or just congratulating me.
Did those officers have anything against you? Have you been annoying, rude, a jerk, stupid, ect...
I am not saying you are but I know that my officers would only boot somebody without me around if we have had our fill of an annoying person and were looking for even the smallest reason to boot them.

I think they did you a favor. I'd never want to be in a guild like that. I probably would have gquit long before they could have kicked me if they're acting like that.

The questions becomes..are you in a raiding guild or a guild that raids..?
What's the difference you ask..priority.
On my server we have a few large raiding guilds. They have one priority..raiding..they're not in business to be your friend or treat you fairly. They are after the "Status" recognition for being the top guild. The GM/officers dictate the rules and decide who runs...period. If you can hack it... your in. These are the kind of guilds that have applications and set hours to run..etc etc. its like a job almost.
Then you have guilds like mine..we don't live, eat and !@#$tz..Naxx. We run a few days a week. Who ever is on..goes. As GM I make sure everyone gets a run. Less dps members get the easier wings. No one is ever embarrassed..spoken down too..or kicked. My members actually volunteer to give up spots against certain bosses..when a particular type of class is needed. We enjoy ours runs. Sure we are not near the the top raiding guilds..but we have completed Naxx.
The few members who left because the wanted to join the "Status" guilds..have all come back..because they ran into same kind of problem as you. They also finally understood the approach I tried to teach them about guilds.."you can be a small part of something big" like in those large raiding guilds.."Or a large part of something small" like my guild.
Also..all the major raid guilds have had defections. Someone gets screwed..leaves..takes their friends with them and form a "New & Improved" raiding guild. Eventually the cycle repeats itself.
Why..because when everyone only cares about themselves..no one cares about you.
By the sounds of the DPS being put out..the guild you speak of sounds like one of those major raiding "status" guilds..you so desperately want to be a part of because they make you feel "cool"..in which case..your GM gave you an order..you $%^&*ed about it and got kicked..that's life at the top baby..stop complaining.
Which is why those guilds are always coming and going. Cause that cycle gets old and is epic fail. I prefer a little more stability in my game life.

As a GM of a guild, I know all too well the decision to remove a player can be pathetically easy or excrutiatingly hard. I don't know the depth of the decision in your case. However, I do have to point out that a guild CAN be embarassed by the actions of one member. There are several examples on my server. So reputation is important - not just ranking on the server.
From what you have described, in isolation, I don't think you deserved to be removed from the guild.
I do also agree with some of the other posters that it is unlikely it is the only reason.
While I appreciate you feel strongly on this issue - my suggestion to you is: Move On. Don't waste another moment of your time worrying about it - you are only adding fuel to THEIR fire because you are being so persistent in it. Find a guild that is more social, more open to a variety of levels (gear, skill, dps, etc etc) and most importantly - will let you PUG raids without criticizing your ability to play provided that you keep in mind that your actions are a representation of the guild's and that you don't ruin anything for any other guildmate.
Let it go and move on. And if you have friends in your guild that you wish to keep hanging with - where is there a rule that says you can't?
