the last 2 points you decide.
usually as a discipline priest like any healer unlike dps theres no rotation you use whats best at that moment but for most trash and alot of the healings done by Penance,Shield this is your main move pick up all talents that improve it and the glyth, and flash heal between cooldowns of shield and penance.
but remember to pick up alll your life-saving unility no matter what someone says get pain supression it reduces damage by 40% thats alot of migation sure your shield might benifit more but if its on cooldown this is great i mainly use this when the tanks stunned or i know big damage is coming i use it alot on mages if it isn't needed for tank like if AoE is coming prepare mage it proves effective. and if you find yourself spamming alot of flash healz or spamming alot put on power infusion for a boost and a great macro to use is innner focus+PoH since PoH is a huge spell that costs a ton of mana why not get it free and it pros bubbles alot:)
anyways as any healer 0 rotation just use what best and usually that meens saving penance for the tank and alot of keeping track of your cooldowns.
so while healing use penance on the tank(unless one dps is about to get killed) when the tanks took some consiterable damage and flash heal to top off health and your shield to save time for your next cast thats what disc is mainly a damage migater. renew isn't as useful for disc but trust me it does help it smooths out more damage:)
oh and read the discipline guide on my signature it helped me a ton
anyways have a good weekend hope i helped a little:)

the last 2 points you decide.
2 points in Improved DS would give you 80 more sp, and 2 points in Renewed Hope would give you 4% more crit if the target has Weakened Soul up.
5 points in Diving Fury is ok if you plan on soloing a lot, but it won't help very much in healing as a Disc healer doesn't use GHeal much, if at all (prefering FHeal).
I would go w/ 3 points in Improved Renew and either leave 2 in Divine Fury or move them up to Healing Focus. There's no real good way to spend these points in the holy tree, but as a disc healer specializes in crits and tank healing, Insperation is more than worth the 3 points, and since you already went down that far, you might as well take up Desperate Prayer.

stickies are your best friend.
Do you have a shaman in your raid? if so, drop Improved Divine Spirit. It gets over-written.

Imp Ds is useless in a raid caus a shamans totem will overwrite the effect caus its better.
Renewed hope is kinda a musthave caus your main target should always have weakend soul debuff on him.
Divine fury your right about that
While renew isnt realy a great spell for disc healers the imp renew is better than divine fury imo since you dont use those spells alot. And Healing focus is more of a pvp talent but its nice to have when their is alot of aoe dmg.

yes true the divine fury isn't worth much as disc but inspiration is and if you get that might as well get desperate prayer it helps when you just gotta heal yourself quick to go back to the tank. anyways you just go to the holy tree for extra crit and inspiration. im getting spell warding once i go back to astrum shes on hold until next patch. i figured i hardly ever use renew as disc but use it alot as holy so why not spell warding so i live better through spell AoE it would be more use than faster greater heal for me anyways.

^ this is what I've been using. I'm still doing Heroics, gearing towards raids. I've found this build works great for me.
Divine Fury is useless unless you want extra solo'ing power. There should never be a time you need to cast a GHeal if you're playing right.
I skip Renewed Hope. While yes, your tank should ALWAYS have the Weakened Soul debuff, glance over to my Holy tree. Since Penance is also such a key part of a Disc Priest rotation, I prefer that reduced mana cost. I know many will baulk at me for not having better crit, but I HATE having mana issues, and I love picking up reduced costs wherever I can.
I macro my Inner Focus to Prayer of Healing. It's nice to have a clear-cast AOE every now and then.
I usually save Power Infusion for when I'm grouped with a mage or other caster whose DPS can benefit from it. Thanks to all my reduced mana cost I rarely need it for myself.
I find Enlightenment to not be a necessary talent, as the extra Stamina isn't very necessary, Spirit doesn't help your spell power like it does in Holy, and while spell haste is great, I find better places to put those other TPs (such as Imp Divine Spirit -- I do mostly pugs, so I'll take for-sure spell power over looking for / hoping for a shammy).
And Pain Suppression is cool, but I've never found a spot where I went, "Wow, I wish I had that." I've never had a tank die on my watch, despite not having that for some of those heavy-hitting bosses.
As far as rotation? I use this:
PW:S, Penance, Renew, and then Flash Heals until Penance is back up. Flash Heal can be replaced by heals on the rest of the group, either a quick Prayer of Mending or PW:S on someone else.
The rotation is gonna change a bit next patch, with the effect Grace gives coming from any PW:S casting (which also will no longer have a cooldown), and if your tank is already topped off, you won't need to throw a Flash Heal on them to keep Grace up.

All true, Sriggle, but like I pointed out, for now I'm just gearing for raids, doing Heroics, and at the moment Heroics aren't EXTREMELY hard. Therefore, I've got my talent build geared more to preference than necessity (just like I'm sure I'd drop Improv Divine Spirit once I start raiding, get Desperate Prayer, etc.)
I'm putting off re-specing until next patch, when I'll get to for free. :D!

Pain suppression is very helpful for hard hitting bosses and soft enrages.
And considering the OP was talking about Sarth3D. 40% less damage from flame breath while twilight torment is up? its the same as guardian spirit, better in this situation imo since it negates the damage from occuring in the first place.
A disc priest and blood knight are great for this fight.
I've seen tanks still die while guardian spirit is up because the total incoming damage was enough to kill them twice over.
