Sorry man, the days of shadow healing are over. All a spriest is good for on the healing side now is as a very nice offhealer. Healing however can be done from both a discipline persective and a holy perspective; the difference being the stats you go for more.
The Good news is that once patch 3.1 comes out, if you spend 1kg, you can keep 2 specs and switch on and off with ease.
Your glyphs will depend on your spec and as long as your leveling, I suggest you pick glyphs the complement your dps.

I'm going to disagree here slightly, whilst in essence Aldones is right, you are 'only' level 60. This means that healing your way through outlands instances is entirely possible, you will of course oom much faster, resulting in lots of drinking between pulls, but given a decent set of gear you should be able to heal all the way into early Northrend.
Shadow will be faster for leveling solo, so it depends how much instancing you do as to what spec you choose, holy or disc will make healing instances nice and easy :)
The best drops for you are likely to be out of instances and instance-related quests like:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24083
(from the last boss in Ramparts) or
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9575
givng the reward
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25718
.
Boss drops/blues from dungeon quests will make leveling that much easier.
GL =D
P.S. its quite easy to level as disc/holy healing spec now due to the number of DK's running around you can quickly get groups :)

It's only 10 levels and it shouldn't hurt you much to skip all the instances. You will get enough gear from quests and anything you get will be replaced as soon as you get in Northrend.
