is the best TBC AoE Grind shield hands down. I does require Honored with Sporeggar, and 15 Glowcaps, but its easily worth the grind.

Thanks alot! I've seen that shield probably a dozen times and honestly cant tell you why i havn't added it yet ;p
It's really easy to get honored with sporeggar as well for that matter the Bog Lords are great for AoE grinding.
Will add the shield now and some quick info on how to get it later!

I havn't been able to do so much research on items yet i've mostly added the ones that i've gotten from replys. Been a busy weekend but i'll try to add as much as possible this coming week and hopefully get that section finished by the end of the week!
Thanks for all the feedback and support i've gotten so far!

Skullflame Shield
is good a world drop, so you may have to cough up a pretty penny to get it.

Thanks alot! Just realised i had a previous poster suggest that as well ;p Dunno why i hadn't added it yet ^^
But it's up there now atleast!
Im gonna do some research of my own today and look into armor in general.
Added a few new outland locations.

I will pretty much redo the whole gear section..
Instead of listing the top 3 gear choices for every 10 levels i will instead do a simple layout on the stats to inform what does what and what you should be aiming for.
I will include a list of extraordinary loot that will help alot along the way. (excluding heirlooms)
The enchant section will pretty much be the same, i might look over that too in the future.
This is to make it all a bit more user friendly..
Nobody likes a wall of text with flashy yellow text with links etc.
(wall of text critically hits your eyes for 1337 imba damage)
I will start working with this in the morning as it's 4.am here atm.
So far i've only recieved extraordinary loot suggestions so none of them will be removed!
Thank you all for the support!

I am leveling a pally at the moment and found that
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=7726
is a nice blue shield to get and is easy enough to pick up from SM cathedral.
Thanks for the contribution!
I would've added it in the former version of the gear section but now i dont really deem it extraordinary since really it's nothing more then a better then average shield..
I've redone pretty much the whole gear section now and it's getting pretty done.. Ofcourse i'll keep adding items to it but in general i think it's pretty complete.

Avoidance
Avoidance includes: dodge, parry and block.
BLOCK
IS
NOT
AVOIDANCE.
Avoidance is miss, parry, dodge.
Edit: Sorry for the bold ect :P But Ive had to tell people this for 4 years now.

Thanks for pointing that out, though a little subtlety would have been nice.
I've changed it to be correct.
I do most work on this guide late nights or after work so mistakes easily happen.
A simple say so is alot more effective and appreciated then going bananas with the underline, bold and italic functions.

">" means greater than. You want "<".
Thanks, i've made sure to change that.
Work has been going kinda slow on this guide lately.
Mostly cause i respecced holy to level the last 5 levels with a DK friend of mine and cause i intend to play holy on 80.
I have scouted out a few northrend locations tho but havn't been able to add them yet.
I will get to this later tonight or at the latest tomorrow evening.
This doesnt mean im going to stop writing the guide btw. I very much enjoy AoE grinding as holy as well.
It's great fun seeing how many mobs hitting me i can heal through and still be able to save GCD's for consecrate.

In terms of higher places to grind for levels (72-74): Check out the clumps around the Magnataur rock outcrops in Dragonblight. You can pull 4-5 Magnataur + 8-10 Kobolds per Rock. If you pull the Kobolds first, you can get them to drop their totems and then it's just melee all the way against 13-15 level 72-74 mobs. Easy Peasy.
I picked up two levels there in just a few hours... never ran a quest in Dragonblight (for better or worse)
Thank you this was a location i've been considering but never tried it myself.
Apart from the location contributed by DrWiggles i added another one located in borean tundra.
Later tonight i'll add a few locations i've scouted that will cover the higher levels a bit more.
(Icecrown, Storm Peaks, Dragon blight)
---
73-74/5 try the crusaders at the New Hearthglen docks
74/5-77 out in front of the Argent Dawn town in Zul'Darak (undead goodness, Abominations will pull you to them)
You must've hit the post button the second before me ;p I'll check these out as i add the other locations later tonight! Thanks for the contribution.

I'm currently a lvl 31 pally and I understand the idea and can grind properly, but how do you deal with horde/alliance ganking you when you grind?
At lower levels there is not really much you can do than to try and keep your eyes open for any hostile players. This is because of the lack of avoidance and mitigation this early so having a mob on you while being attacked by a hostile player mostly will lead to your demise.
Though when you get to 60+ or sometimes even as low as 50+ you'll notice that it'll be alot easier to kill someone even if you have mobs on you. Sometimes it'll even be easier to kill another player when you have mobs hitting you because of the extra mana gained from avoiding the mobs attacks and a higher uptime on
Reckoning
/
Redoubt
.
I will add a short section on this in the guide for thoose who play on PvP servers.
---
It got kinda late last night so i didnt have the time to add all the new locations i was talking about but i am investigating them now to get the HP, lvl and behaviour info on all of the mobs will add them to the list ASAP.
P.S.
I've added all of the contributed locations (thanks again for the help!) and a few of my own.
I've also divided the "Where to go and when" section to look better and to make it easier to find your level range. Go check it out.
And if anyone know if there is a function on the forums that lets you link to a specific line of a post please give me a PM cause i dont have the room to make each level range a different post.
Or if im not mistaken as you do with HTML you make "anchors" on lines which you can link to.
P.P.S.
I've added a small PvP section now and will continue to add on it as time passes by. For the moment im taking the night off to continue on this tomorrow!
