Svirve,
I was thinking of using this set in the 50 lvls, at least three pieces may be bought from the AH. Didn't know if this was a waste of time to go after or not? Let me know your thoughts.
www.wowhead.com/?itemset=188
Lightforge is a really crappy set for any paladin, it's a mix between healing and dps gear.
I would just level to 58 instead and get the awesome defense pieces from outland.
You could actually stay with the murlocs until 40-41 if you're finding the other locations to be sub-par. And then move on to feral scar vale in feralas for the yetis. But if you scout a location feel free to let me know! I could always use new ones.
Pirates in Tanaris? Near where the ship is, you could probably chain pull quite a few there, if my memory serves me correctly. Just about up to there on my Warrior, so I'll give it a shot soon.
Hmm dunno why i havn't added that one, i've used it a ton of times myself and you can easily pull ~20ish mobs there.

After finally getting my pali up to lv 59 (good lord what a grind), I've found two things that I think other palis should know.
First off, on the Doomhammer server at least, Dalson's Tears is glitched. You can gather up a whole bunch of enemies, start to concencrate them down, and they'll reset. I'm unsure if this is the same on other servers, but I've contacted Blizz about this and they said that the designers themselves are going to have to look at it.
Second, for those Paladins who've reached 50. I suggest HIGHLY running AV. With the new experience gain during PVP (and the lack of stronger gear from not doing quests on my pali all that much) a single AV run could get you at least half of your XP bar, if not more. In fact, In a span of two hours, I went from level 53 to level 57 and I didn't even have to do all that much PVP. I'm not sure how effective this would be in the other PVPs at younger levels, but I suggest to look at it, if nothing more then to help you along with your Consecrating grinding.

Actually it's not the area that's glitched. Is it in the area around the buildings were you'll have the mobs evade on you?
If so look for the broken down cart next to the barn (to the right of the barn when looking at the entrance), usually there stands a mob there that cant move so he'll evade causing the rest of the mobs in combat with you to evade as well. This can easily be fixed by killing the mob next to/on the cart which evades otherwise.
The easiest way to find out if a mob is evading on you is to look at were you've been and not only were you're going. If you see a mob standing still looking at you that you're positive you've run past run back and kill it, 9/10 times he's stuck on something.
I hope this helped you! Enjoy the guide!

The guide did help me out, big time, though I really, REALLY hated grinding up those last couple of levels to get into the outlands. As it is, finding out how much of a buff to questing, Consecrating, and PVPing together was able to level me has made me decide to do all three from 59 out.
As for the mob stuck at the door, are you 100% sure that's the reason? If I pick him up while I'm gathering the rest, the mobs will reset once he evades? I thought it was more of a problem with the zone in general. Either way, it might be a good idea to point out this mob in the guide, so those wishing to level aren't stuck like I was.

Yea grinding alone can be really tiring in the long run. When i'm leveling a paladin i try to couple it with some easy "kill XX amount of mob" quests for some variety and money/gear.
The mob stuck in the broken down cart happened to me a couple of times, killing him before the pull or in the middle of the pull would prevent the issue. It could be a mob stuck underground as well, that happens sometimes and then there's not much to do. The only thing you could do is kill all of the mobs one by one, and check if after killing any of the mobs you stay in combat, or is attacked by "nothing". If you do find a spot like this, try to avoid it when pulling groups since this is where the mob is stuck underground.
That's a real backside of the evade-system, if one of the mobs that you are in combat with is evaded due to not being able to reach you for whatever reason, all other mobs you are in combat with will also evade.
I know there is a rare mob that may spawn underground in Sorrow Hill as well so i'm guessing it's a design flaw with the spawn points in the zone, and seeing as it's old content blizz probably wont be arsed to fix it since cataclysm aint too far away.
I'll make sure to mention both problems in the guide :)

Got another place for you to do a bit a bit of Consecrating Leveling. Over up in the Blade's Edge Mountains, there's a bunch of the bird man creatures, most of them going by the name of Lashh'an, that you can gather together and take down without any troubles. There are a few spell casters among their ranks, one of which will summon more bird allies once it's health drops, but I've been able to level there around the 65 zone without too much issue. Especially since Veil Lash is full of em.

I do not know if this has been brought up yet (I am at school and wanted to contribute so I did not have time to read all of the posts), but outside of Warsong Hold with the abundance of rhinos may be a good place from 68-70 maybe 71; I know the pain of neutral mobs.
1) Stand in a pack, or in the path of a pack of rhinos.
2) Target a separate pack use hand of Reckoning on one and then Avenger's Shield on another, for a pull total of 4 rhinos
3) Drop Consecrate in the middle of another pack of rhinos total of 9.
If your lucky, depending on how many you are comfortable with pulling, you can get 9-10 at a time, assuming you pull a hostile Bull Rhino. I hope you all find that useful.
I would like to note, though, that there is Nedar, Lord of Rhinos and Lunchbox roaming around there. So it may be something to look out for, but I never had any trouble with him on my hunter. Once again hope it helps.

Alternatively you can just
mount
up run through the first pack of whatever tword the second back, drop consecration, slow down let the first pack walk over your cons as you pull the third pack.
Its all about luring them over cons. basically.

I'll consider adding the rhinos.
I didn't at first since they have a slow respawn time, are neutral (as said), far spread and comes in groups of 5, when handling 15 mobs are totally possible.

I'm glad you're enjoying it so far :)
People are hard headed boxes simple as that. Also "my brother has a son whoms friends father got told by his cousins daughters step-father" is not a good reason as to why ret would be better than prot for leveling.
Biggest reason as to why people would promote ret instead of prot is because with ret you can just mash your face on the keyboard and still treat yourself to a cookie for completing the quest. While as prot you atleast have to be facing the mobs.
It's kind of expensive i'd agree. But you do make a lot of money grinding as well, quest rewards offer little to-none existant amounts of cash until late northrend. The amount of money you'll make from grey weapons alone, that you find when grinding, is more than enough to make up for quest rewards.
On the other hand you wont as easily get upgrades to your gear.

Yeah, I think out of all the things that will make it difficult for you to do Consecrating (And nothing else) is the simple lack of gear to keep up with the enemies. As I'm posting this right now, I'm doing all the quests in Howling Fjord and almost everything (including my Heirloom Mace!) have been replaced by the quest items and were HUGE upgrades.
As it was, I was wearing bracers and using a shield that were old and needed replacing a LONG time ago. So while consecrating might be good for gold as well as for XP, I suggest again that you mix it up with questing so that you won't end up trying to tank a lv 78 mob in level 68 gear.

Buy crafted. The Cobalt and Tempered Cobalt sets are the best things you're going to get in Northrend for a long time.

Aye the auction house holds great rewards for those willing to venture there and confront the monopolizing gold farmers!
As Silverline said the lack of gear is pretty severe since you dont get the constant flow of new gear from quest rewards. But I've found (this is very server economy reliant) that with the money I make when grinding I've been able to buy all the gear I have needed to succesfully keep grinding.
On a less serious note,
"Agility is better than dodge" without evidence behind it is, pardon my language, full of crap.

It's not better but 97.6% as good ;p
