Return to board index

If threat was limiting your Heroic Strikes before, then this just means you won't have to worry about being limited since HS use will be lower in order to conserve rage.

one thing: Why the hell would you implement a debuff on a 51 point talent?

A 5% nerf would be reasonable..
My main problem however is Blizz's blatant hypocrisy on this matter.
They nerf TG because "it provides too much dps for 1 point"
Yet they buff Hunger for Blood(Mutilate Rogue's 51 pointer) in the PTR to grant MORE dps for 1 talent point than TG currently provides in live...
Um... apples to oranges here. Mutilate rogues NEED that 15% buff to damage (yes, it's 15% stacked right now) in order to even begin to compete in terms of DPS. I'm willing to wager that even after the 10% reduction in damage TG will still be able to beat out many other people. The point is, TG was overpowered. There is no doubt about that, and if you can't see that, then you need to step back and get some glasses. Warriors with equal skill and gear almost literally couldn't be stopped in terms of the damage they did, limited only by the global cooldown and the swing speed of their weapons.
Long story short, perhaps (hopefully) Fury won't be FOTM anymore, and those good Fury warriors hanging around will still be able to compete for top 3 on the meters, and people can move on.

Why not just remove all the pures since other classes can do damage and other things such as tank and heal.
Because you can run a 25-man raid with 10 tanks and 15 healers. That someone "could" heal/tank if they were to respec and regear does not make them any less of a dps. I think you're being the close minded one. Every class has things that are desirable (hunters and rogues <pure dps classes> are the only class that have threat transfer abilities...ToT is a life saver when trying to OT adds as a warrior). That you chose to roll a rogue (or hunter/mage/warlock whatever) should be a choice based on play style. That I choose to play enhancement shaman is also a choice based on playstyle...I like being a melee spell caster. "oh but shaman can insta heal himself," yes and a rogue can vanish/has sick dodge etc, a hunter can feign death and has a pet to help control aggro.
And what about semi-hybrids? Should pally dps be gimped more than shammy dps because pally's can dps, heal, AND TANK, while a shaman can only dps and heal? Druids can cover 4 rolls, should we make their dps suffer because of it?

TG = -10%
Zerk stance = +5%
Total DPS lose Live vs PTR = -5%
Does 2x 2hand vs 2x 1hand would give you more than 5% dps increase? If yes, STFU, else continue to QQ.

@Winterhorn: Because TG give too much DPS increase. The -10% is a nerf, but it is a balancing nerf.
And many 51 pts have a cooldown... thats a "debuff".
Blizzard can add a cooldown on TG if you want... can only swing with your 2hand every 30 seconds...
