AND I'M BACK! Wow these have been 3 long days, had a lot of fun in Caracas, got to meet one of my personal heroes (Sumito, one of the best, if not THE BEST Chef in Venezuela) and learned a ton about my profession. The exam was brutal, and I won't know if I passed or not till another month.
And now, I gotta sift through well over 18 pages of comments and get up to speed, so lets dig in.
Today did not go as planned. Not at all.
Getting punched in the face.
Yes. Long story short, I'm moving out as soon as possible.
T_T OMG, I'm so sorry to hear that dear. U_U Some people are just horrible. I feel for you.
hon
I worked with a bunch of ladies, when I worked in Sheriff's dispatch. We would take phone calls all day long, and the one thing that would get on their nerves, of all things, was being called "hon". The caller could scream obscenities at them, or threaten, or die, and it was no big deal. But, if some dude called them "hon", they hated it. When I asked why, it was something about being patronized. I never really understood it, but I guess it bothers some people. I never called anyone "hon", but now I never will after learning how some people hate it.
Its just a harmless term of endearment, I suppose it would be understandable if a total stranger calls you that, but between friends, its nothing more than a form of affection.
I tend to use the words "Bro" and "Sis" for the people I consider really close friends.
On a different note, I finally started playing my warlock this weekend, and it's fabulous. I haven't had another class besides hunter that I felt a great urge to raid on, and I've leveled a couple of them. I'd really like to gear and raid on my warlock when she's leveled though. While it might have something to do with how well her transmog is coming out, and I love the pets, it't mostly just because I find the rotation- especially the AOE rotation- and the resource mechanics for Destro to be really fun.
Of course they are, I told you they were pretty awesome. Come on, didn't you saw me over-geek-out in Gchat over how awesome the warlock revamp was? I believe I reiterated myself QUITE OFTEN both during leveling, and during gearing up. I insist you try out demonology spec, if you think the AoE of Destro is cool, you should see the solo-rotation for Demo in AoE.
Irene can tell you just how cool it is. (Hint, pull 20+ mobs in Isle of Thunder, AoE them down without going below 80% HP at any time)
However..... WHAT A WASTE! you should had made that lock Horde T_T it would had been perfect, Irene has been leveling a horde alt on my realm, you could had joined us, and since this is a class you enjoy, it would had been a perfect balance between your main hunter, and your favorite warlock alt.
ohh well =/
Thanks Mr. Mods, the account seems fully functional now. And hello, everyone! It's great to be back!
O_O You're back!
Ok we don't know each other, you were gone shortly before I started posting on Off-topic, having said that, I've heard your name A LOT, so Pleased to meet you. Hope we get
alone Along.
Boyfriend has been playing SWTOR again recently. He wants me to come back, and I want to eventually, but I have all sorts of new goodies I am still farming in WoW, and then I still have Skyrim, and I need to do a new Mass Effect palythrough to really get the benefit of all the DLC they added...
Wow, you really like skyrim :P I'm already done with that game, finished my latest playthrough, completed Dragonborn, (really fun, but REALLY GLITCHY) and the sole reason its still installed on my harddrive is because Reina has really taken a liking to it xD.
I've debated going back to SWTOR, but I'm not gonna, too much stuff to do in wow. Maybe during the "pre-expansion blues" (PEB = That lengthy period of time between the last patch of the latest expansion, and the release date of the newest expansion. A period of up to 8 months with nothing to do, and nothing to look forward)
There's a few members of my guild who are going back to ToR but
I think I'm still too mad at them to go back.
Aye, what a waste of potential, :S that game had the merits to become the one true real competitor to wow, and a new stage in online gaming, if it had been handled right. Then they had to go ahead and do just about every worst possible decision a gaming company could make short of shooting their customers. Seriously, Bioware, I love you, but please please PLEASE stick to single-player games.
And you need to play New Vegas!
I can't emphasize enough how true this is
I don't even know what we're denying.
If my hunch is correct, you
DON'T want to know.
She says she quits Wowhead because that is some major.. uh.. less than acceptable language.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUFFH that was a long long long catching up to do. And now to do the same on the QOTD, and on General threads. Its good to be back home with my cat, and my wife, and my girl, and my PC, and my wow, and my wowhead.
/happy-mode.
(I'm really sorry to hear what happened to you Milayu U_U)
