That's a lot easier to explain than little white address labels in the bathroom stall that say "Bathroom Camera For Research Purposes Only"
You know, if you wanted to ACTUALLY cause a rumble.
That is genius.

Man, compared to playdota forums, this place is nice neighborhood.
Quite. Have you ever been to the LoL forums, though?

What is LoL? Never played anything but DotA in terms of DotA like games.
Feel free to look around
; don't touch the forums though - they are terrifying. Also, there's a thread on Wowhead about it as well.

When I briefly played EQ2, the easiest way anyone ever got rage going in a general channel was mentioning WoW- lol.

I remember when I was playing AION - everytime you suggested improvement in an area or complained on the forums, the first answer would be "You need to get back to WoW" - needless to say; a lot of people did.

It's so frustrating.
Aaaaaaaannnnddd it's gone.
Lol, I liked the serendipity.
Doing it right after you wake up is a great way to make you hate it.
I feel most of the time that getting it over with first thing in the morning helps, especially if I have obligations for the rest of the day. Otherwise I'll be thinking "ah crap, I need to exercise later, I wonder if I have time, I'd better skip this and that".
That said, have been eating junk and not exercising for the past two days since I've got a throat infection.
Not that it's particularly interesting, but I haven't been posting because my PC was moved into my uni accommodation, but a water heater burst in the room above and my landlady had to replace the ceiling. I moved back with the family and have a 2 hour commute and a PC from 2005 (integrated graphics card, very slow - waited until I got back into uni accom to check wowhead).
Other stuff that's happened: went to Nottingham on a pub crawl for my friends 22nd. Made about 6 pubs with a shot or more each, then we hit a club but we didn't drink there for whatever reason. I haven't met an engineer I haven't liked as of yet (almost everyone there was an engineer, though the two product designers and the computer scientist were awesome too).
Got drunk with a friend on Sunday, not entirely sure why. Cider and whiskey. Watched Cuckoo (Andy Samburg, Greg Davies, quite funny) and then went on Chatroulette while he was passed out. Talked to a girl from Taiwan studying marketing - she had a giant teddy bear. Curious.
Woke up at 5am hungover on Monday, completely dehydrated and unable to sleep. Leave house before 7 (2 hours to reach uni, 9am lecture) and bump into said friend's dad who gives me a lift to the station. Forgot pen and my friends skipped the lecture. Buy chocolate milk and a sandwich to try and alleviate throbbing headache. Go to check if my room is ready and landlady informs me it isn't. Pass guy talking to himself at bus stop while eating the sandwich. He then asks for my assistance - I ask how I can help. He tells me he's hungry. I dig some change from my wallet. Walk to WHSmiths in order to buy a pen, have 66p and the cheapest pen is 69p. Walk back to university in order to read, then attend a lecture. Meet my dissertation supervisor, who says that my general idea is good, but I need to make amendments in order to speed up the ethics application (wanted to work with children, but more practical to work with fellow students). Have to read until after 6:00 in order to be able to use offpeak ticket (£13:60, not valid between 5:30 and 6:30, peak ticket costs £25). Decide to look at relevant linguistics papers for dissertation research and realise how little I know. Guy next to me is aggressively asked for money, presumably by someone he knows. Guy diagonally across from me is talking about "some #$%^" and how she "has sex and !@#$s and ^&*!". Charming. Forget to renew books. Go to the third story to pick up two new books, take them to the withdrawing machine, am informed one is reference only, see the reference only sticker on the book, take them back up to the third story (two girls are waiting outside the doors to the library complaining about someone who meant to meet them), leave one of the books behind. Go downstairs to the toilet, attempt to leave and the other book I attempted to withdraw sets off the alarm. Return to the third story and one of the girls says "what the @#$% are you doing man". Ignore her, return book. When I get down to the ground story I realise that the other book which had the reference only sticker was on my account and if someone took it out of the library I'd be responsible for replacing it. Consider it not worth going it back up again.
On the way to the train station, some guy is assaulting what appears to be his girlfriend - violently pulling her. I walk up to them and ask her if she's okay. She says she is. I ask the guy if there's a problem. He says there isn't. I feel stupid and walk away. In retrospect, I probably should have called the police. At train station, sit next to a girl who cries for ten minutes. Consider offering her tissues but don't want to bother her. When train approaches she walks towards the end of the platform, I hope she doesn't jump onto the tracks - which she doesn't. Accidentally get onto the first class carriage, jump off, platform guy does the "wait" signal with his whistle and I manage to secure a carriage. Except there are a couple that looked about 50 and completely trolleyed dry humping. Sit as far away from them as possible, wonder if I'm hallucinating. Belfast couple move across the train to sit nearby and comment humorously on the proceedings. Arrive home after 9pm. Find out the Student Loan Company sent a letter on the 17th of October that they'll process my application within 10-15 working days. I applied for the loan before the deadline (June or something?) and registered for my course at the beginning of this month.
Today I was meant to sign up to volunteer for the soup kitchen (I figure it's a more adequate solution to just giving money to the homeless* and I'd feel like less of a !@#$ directing them to a soup kitchen I volunteered at - may also carry biscuits with me to distribute) and have a room inspection, but I was waiting for the landlady to inspect the room (and perform an inventory) until half an hour before my lecture, so I ended up doing neither. Have to email my landlady about that actually. Anyway, on the way to the train station (had to wait for the peak ticket time to expire again, have a reading week this week so back with family, including sister on holidays from her placement in France), some guy was shouting racist abuse at a man in traditional Arabic garb. Some of the abusee's friends showed up and the guy ran away in front of me, at which point I dropped my notebook out of my pocket, but wasn't sure until I actually crossed the barrier in the train station. Bah.
* There's one rasta guy in Luton who's infamous. The first week I moved in I gave him £2 and every single time I've seen him since he's asked me for money. He gets very petulant and aggressive if one refuses, even politely and swore at a friend in McDonalds for giving him 80p. He also followed my friend home once for refusing to give him money. I've recently spotted him with a guitar twice, but never playing it. Seems a bit of a waste.

That's actually why I don't give people money on the streets, ever.

to give the truly sadistic a chance to psycologically torture others. :P
Have you ever tried paying a product that costs 50 dollars, with a jar of 1c coins? Cuz I knew someone who did (With bolivares, but the spirit is the same, this old coot mister bernardo, would save up all the 1c coins that landed on his hands, once he had a biiiig jar full, he'd go to the supermarket, and pay up with that monstrosity xD)

I believe that's why we have a law in Australia about being able to reject payment made with more than 20 coins at a time. :P
I just don't see the point - I'm really not going to notice that I don't get 2 cents in change. Back when Australia removed our 1c and 2c coins from circulation and rounded cash transactions to the nearest 5c, I thought it was silly, but I'm really understanding that it makes a helluva lot of sense now.

Hai guys. Why do countries still use 1c coins? /jingle
It's mostly about ensuring the most precise price possible. You'd be surprised how often a 1 cent margin means something.
Edit: I accidentally a word

After working at McDonald's for 4 years, I noticed how many people wouldn't bother with their change. Some nights I would end up with a couple dollars worth of change due to people not wanting.
But it is annoying g as hell when you get these people with ziploc bags filled with coins. Some days I would have to use two slots to hold all the pennies I would get. Then we finally got a coin machine and that helped with some of the problems.
