I think it's kinda funny how Christianity is about forgiveness, yet America is a heavy practicer of the death penalty..
But then again, we are talking about America :P

It's just a matter of time until somebody claims that free market capitalism is supported by God.
1 Timothy 6:10
"For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil". Yet, prosperity theology and the book "Jesus Was a Capitalist".

I swear by the cross on my neck that no-one has been wrongfully executed.
you show that you STILL have done no research, and thus I feel no need to treat your inquiry with any respect.
So, why was it alright for Joseph Smith but not for his future congregation? If it's divine fiat, Euthyphro's dilemma is invoked, else, special pleading.
Romney will still condemn gay marriages based on a tradition not espoused by the founder of the religion he professes, yet will not condemn the founder of the religion he professes. I've yet to see a reason why.

I thought there were a couple of cases where evidence was found after somebody had been executed.
Unless you meant that sarcastically.

We need to redefine religion to be honest.
Religion - when people take bunch of possibly fictional stories too seriously.
Something like that...
Flamebait much?

Because it WAS okay for the congregation until FUTURE leadership declared it null (possibly to gain admittance into the Union, but that's neither here nor there).
(This is why I'm annoyed. You do just enough research to insult and make incorrect statements, but not enough to actually gain the knowledge that could answer your own questions. It's incredibly irritating).

The "off-topic" thread seems to have been pooling into some definite topics today. Could we separate off those sorts of discussion into threads (I think there's existing threads to house them). Thanks all.

Hope the next patch fixes the whole gathering issues going on in Beta.

Not a bad thing, just tempers and frustrations rising and placing the discussion in a different setting might prevent anything problematic from occurring.

Have you guys heard about Wasteland 2? The game that has been funded on Kickstarter? They actually got enough money to hire Chris Avellone as a writer. Chris @#$%ing Avellone. That game is gonna own so hard.
