I shaved my beard :(
Man, I wish I could grow a beard. How could you shave something you have the sacred privilege to grow and make beautiful?
Women do the same.

1: Trying to look decent for another lady attempt.
2: It was kinda getting annoying, to be honest.
3: Lady.
4: I never really took care of it, just let it grow, no trimming etc, so it wasn't neat, it looked kind of horrible now that I think of it. Without the beard I admit that I look a lot different.
5: My parents kept bugging me.

So survey, guys.
Should I download an addon and attempt to mass recruit to my guild as part of an experiment?

You mean my sacred title of Darth Fyruk? Of course. Speaking of which, is Queggy still around? I know he was a mod last time I was here.
Nope, he hasn't visited in months =/

I'm noticing talk about ME3 here. All I know about ME3 is that I don't have the money to get it right now, which depresses me, cause ME has been one of my favorite franchises of this console generation, and that the internet thinks the ending sucks, which depresses me even more. By the summer hopefully I'll have it for myself, and will be able to judge...I don't really care about the whole DLC thing much, though.
ahh don't sweat it. Its better that way.
Hopefully by the time you can afford it, they'll already fix the ending via DLC/expansion pack.
At the moment, the game is a brilliant piece of art, that sadly has an ending just as confusing as 2001:Space Odyssey.
Heh, well that's a large complaint at the moment, that you can't get those old saves in.
Really? Eeesh, I hadn't heard about that. I'd be furious if that happened to me...maybe it's better that I won't be getting it until after all this $%^& smooths over. Maybe I can even hold out for a GOTY edition with a bunch of DLCs on it...
now THIS is a false rumor.
There is a bug that stops you from importing a FACE created in ME1. If the face was created on ME2 all is good. However this bug doesn't mean you can't import the save, just that you gotta re-create the face again. Depending on what face you had, this can either be super easy or real hard. Since some hairstyles were removed, to add some others.
I think both sides in this whole debate are being a bit ridiculous, but also have lots of good points. I do sympathize with the disappointed people though. The sense of entitlement is somewhat justified, as the development of Mass Effect's story is something of a joint effort between Bioware and the player, making one feel more invested than usual. While Bioware can still end it however they like, it sounds like they did away with a lot of the intricacies of the games' usual style and make it a straight "A, B, or C" choice, which we were told would not happen, and took away a lot of the "developing your own story" feel (this is all conjecture, though - I don't actually own the game, not yet at least). Really, I can just empathize with the disappointment people feel after putting a lot of time, effort and emotion into something like this (especially since I've done so with ME1 and ME2 already).
Not quite.
The main issue here, is that the ending pretty much ignores everything you've done in the previous games.
Ya know, since this is suposed to be the final chapter of the trilogy, we all assumed they'd be able to just go nuts and have a gazillion different endings based on thousands of variables depending on the hundreds of decisions you made during the entire saga. And this was what they advertised.
However, it ended up being something quite different. See, it doesn't matter if you played the game as 100% renegade, or 100% paragon, or any mix between, after you reach the final battle, just about everything you've done at this point is just tossed aside out the window, and you're dropped 3 choices (1 of them doesn't even really make any sense unless you wanna say "a wizard did it") and you're stuck with those 3.
No amount of preparation, nor any planing will change that. =/ regardless of how you played your game, the endings stick.
Fallout New Vegas had more varied endings than ME3 U_U But then there's something I dind't realized at first, and its because that ending introduces a MASSIVE plot hole regarding the first game.
Can't really mention it here without spoiling it for anyone who hans't played it yet, so just check the post I linked if you're feeling curious.
Heh indeed.
Edit: Of course, I've never played any of the Mass Effects, and probably never will; game just doesn't interest me. What I'm still holding out for is a continuation or remake of Jade Empire.....that game I love, but my original Xbox is on the fritz and only works when it wants to and never been able to find a PC version(of course, not a huge fan of playing 'console style' games on my PC anyways).
Word. I'm a big fan of almost every game they've made, but Jade Empire was their first original IP (Since all the games they did before were either based on Star Wars, or based on D&D campaigns)
Now that Mass Effect has reached its final title, and Dragon Age is soon to be reaching its final title, I'm hoping they re-visit the Jade Empire, cuz we just KNOW we will NEVER see KOTOR 3 =(
Look at Warcraft 4. World of Warcraft all but KILLED the RTS franchise. SWTOR (Awesome as it is) killed the KOTOR franchise for good.

Anyone see the preview Theon chapter he put online? It was ballin'.
Yeah, but I don't like Theon at all. No matter how sympathetic he tries to make Theon, I don't think I'll
ever
change my mind about him. I would have preferred something like a Sansa chapter, she's had nothing new for seven years now. At least most of the characters in AFFC had at least
one
chapter in ADWD.
