The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, contains examples of static characters, characters who do not change throughout the story, and dynamic characters, characters who do change throughout the story. While Reverend Parris is a static character, Reverend Hale and John Proctor are dynamic characters.
Is that the start of a good/decent opening paragraph for my paper, and did I use the correct punctuation? I feel there should be something in place of those commas in the beginning sentence...

The first two commas are not needed at all.
The Crucible
should be italicized. The other four commas are fine, but they could also be parentheses. I don't like the "while", but that's mostly personal taste.

It is italicized in my paper, I just forgot to put the tags around it in the post. There's probably going to be more in between those sentences, so While may work, but I could change it.

NO! Only Emilia Clarkes face is allowed to replace my art.
I guess I won't bother then. Let me know if you change your mind, Jubilee.
