Not much of anything...but both of us have been in a "work-sleep-repeat" cycle for the last couple weeks.

Is that an ouch or a 'normal is good'?

Well, we've got a shared day off next week so I asked her if she wanted to go to the local theme park. But I also told her to wait until she wasn't dead on her feet to answer.
So...in the middle of your two possibilities, I suppose.

Ah, well, could be worse then.

Yep, could be worse. Could be the situation I had around New Year's of the old "friend" who was basically just paying me lip service.

Well duh heh, which is why it's 'funny'. So what did she do to you? If you want to share.

Gist of it: She said she'd be a shoulder I can lean on to get over my ex. We talked somewhat regularly for a couple weeks including a couple "Sure, we could hang out sometime," but it never got past that so I eventually gave up that expectation, then she eventually stopped replying altogether. She didn't even reply when I congratulated her on graduating college or wishing her a happy birthday.
I'll still be the first to admit that an old friend you haven't spoken to in a couple years probably isn't the best person to try and get moral support from, and it probably wasn't all that bright to get sympathy/empathy/whatever about feeling utterly alone from a twin.

I'm slightly bitter, but mostly at myself for putting too much effort into it. Looking back, it was pretty obvious.
