I wonder if I can get my wife to dress up like a blood elf and dance to "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" for me on my birthday. The look of glee on my face right now is priceless, btw.

Somethings are made sweeter by knowing that they only happen once in a lifetime, and you will be the only witness.

Your baby looks like Laihendi when he gets in a debate with you.

Thank you. I am fond of it. Not my favorite tie, but a nice one nonetheless.

Question: My only experience with churches has been crude, I only went to one for the sake of the games and candy after the sermon, and the other.. a Mormon church, as my family goes along that book.. among both these churches, you were required to wear formal clothes and the like, such as you wear in your photo. My question: is it honestly required or is it just some.. trend..? Or does it say somewhere in the good book you should wear formal clothing to church?

No. Many people wear blue jeans and t shirts to church. I wear a tie for my own reason. I acutally wear formal cloths just about everywhere I go. I don't require this of my family though. It's just an image I want to display for my daughter... an entire behavior and attitude. They say that girls grow up to marry men like thier father, and I want her to marry the very best, so that's what I try to be.

So, men who don't wear suits aren't good men? ;)
Oh, and I ask because, even if I'm not part a specific church or a deep believer, I'd actually like to try going back to church. I doubt it'll renew my faith or anything along those lines, but.. just curious..

I seriously doubt that wearing a tie makes you a good man, or the opposite if you don't. It is just a statistical probablity that if a man wears a tie, he has a job. That obviously is important when she selects her counterpart. If I walked around at home all day in my underwear... well.. two extremes. See what I'm getting at? I'm not saying that not wearing a tie makes you bad... but I want to display an extremely professional and respectable image to my daughter, the best that I can. Does that make sense?

Yeah, that makes sense. I've always been one to wonder why parents shelter kids so much and assume to much upon children. I mean, if you happen to walk around in your underwear in your household, do you think that might really warp her perception of whether or not you're a good man?
Although, myself, I still am young. Years and years from having children of my own, but I just don't see how wearing a suit and seeming professional will affect her choice of a man in her future. I'd think by the time your daughter honestly begins even registering the fact of whether or not her father is a good, hard-working man, she'll know that it won't matter if he walks around in his underwear at his home and in a suit when he goes out.
Or maybe I'm missing the point, or maybe I'm too naive and young myself to see what you're getting at..
Anything I said make sense? lol
