I kinda thought of this randomly after doing some dailies in icecrown, so yeah :p
Boss: Resurrected and Mutated Putress? (or any other mad scientist dude, i dont know any in the past events in WoW, so :P)
He could be the last boss in some fleshwerks-esque area in the start-middle of the citadel
Phase 1:
One party member is taken and made into a part of a flesh giant, and from time to time the player will gain control over the giant, and be able to dps the boss. A tank has to tank him, and defense doesnt matter here, as he will crit you from time to time no matter what. Once Putress (or some mad scientist dude) reaches 85%, he will trod slowly to one of the vaults located throughout his room (giving you some time to DPS) and open it, unleashing 30-50 ghouls with 55k HP and disappears. Once the ghouls are dead, he reappears on the other side of the room and enters phase 2.
Phase 2:
Putress explodes the flesh giant, dealing 10-12k damage to each player. He then opens Vault 2, which contains a freshly constructed but weak Patchwerk. He has about 1 million HP and the dps must focus on him and kill him in 3 minutes, or else Putress and Patchwerk enrage, and start AOEing the raid for 10k damage/ second. Once Patchwerk is dead, the raid focuses on Putress while killing the still spewing adds from vault 1. Once Putress reaches 50%, he enters phase 3.
Phase 3:
Putress throws barrels at the ceiling, creating a mag/gruul-like cave-in, damaging each player for 1500 damage per second. Putress throws another barrel, and smashes it over his head, increasing his size and damage output. He also begins to spawn little slime adds with 15k HP.
Once he reaches 35%, he will smash another barrel on his head, and will do so every minute like gruul. Each application increases his damage output by 8%, but increases damage taken by 10%. this is the cue for people to blow cooldowns, because at 10% he enrages adding another 35% to his damage output. When he dies, the roof stops collapsing and you can collect the loot.
I am completely aware of the earliness of the expansion, but it was an idea that i felt like sharing :P
