Hey guys, first time writing this up, and here is my armory
link
. i just replaced the kirin'tor dagger with the one from 10 man kel-thuzad (due to higher spell damage/stats etc) and i put accuracy on it to counter act the lose in hit. I also won the roll on the 10 man t7 helm (i was using the wintergrasp hit helm thats slightly better then the hat of wintery doom) but now im 32 hit away from the cap. Every raid we run we have a druid (either healer, tank, or boomkin) so i was wondering if being at that hit would be ok. i plan on slotting a 8SP/8hit gem into the new found helm, so my total hit is still 24 short. Would that be ok? or do i need to try to regem/re-enchant to make up the difference. Lemme know k
Edit: had to fix link.

Yeah, the armory hasn't updated the new helmet i got or the dagger i got from Kel. Thats whats putting me below the cap. I'll check with the two druids i run with and see if they have improved faerie fire, cuz that would resolve the problem without having to regem (i could actually take out some hit gems for more SP, due to not needing the full 14%)

Hit is all fine and good and stuff, the math is on EJ showing that going for SP rates higher then gemming or enchanting for hit in your overall dps. The reason is, due the mechanics and leaving you at a net dps loss. Most people who raid are close or at/near the cap as it is. And a <2-3% miss rate is a negligible loss in overall dps.
