Do you use Windows Vista? If so, right click on the WoW shortcut and hit "Run as Administrator." That may resolve your issue.

I do not have vista I am running on Windows XP home. I also tried that and that didn't work either.
The troubleshooter I gave you is not going to work on Windows XP for rather obvious reasons.
I'm out of ideas, unfortunately. Might want to ask on the official TS Forum. I'm sure someone will have an answer for you.
Edit: If the information Neffi provided proves to be useful, I'll be handing that information out for when somebody else experiences this issue. =P

Exit WoW. Go to the WoW folder, right click the WTF subfolder, go to properties and uncheck "read only". Apply to all subfolders and files when it asks. Should solve the problem.
