AMZ is very, very, very useful in higher instances. As heroic, but i dont think its very useful to have it in raids. As for Necrosis you just do more damage with auto-attack. Depends on your choice, AMZ or Necrosis would be my choices.

Razorwit, you have to think, that even if it got nerfed, it still owns in alot of dungeons. Most of the spells is reduced damage. So if it were me, they had to nerf it so it only resisted 1% spell damage before i wouldnt take it.

Actually I dont like either choice. AMZ was good before it got nerfed. Plus its a 6 point talent - no TY. Necrosis is more of a DW spec talent. A 2h build doesnt get enough swings to justify 5 points. Next time include your build so we can see where else to put the points - just in case.
No, AMZ is a 1 point talent, Magic suppression is a 5 point talent worthy of those points on it's own.

I've never tried it, but I imagine with Anti Magic Zone i can just eat Ingvar's Dark Smash since that does 22k Shadow Damage and my AMZ currently absorbs just under 16k damage.
I know that's not a great example, that's just being downright lazy, but there are a number of bosses that deal huge single attacks that deal massive damage.
Just make sure that the tank is the only one standing in the AMZ, taking damage.
