Starfall...

To me it seems like starfall is a waste of a talent point. Seriously, it does next to no damage and just seems to aggro EVERYTHING around you.
Is it actually worth getting it or should i put that point into something more useful?

I guess i didn't really make my question clear, its not that i don't like it i just find it to be really low damage. Although i don't normally watch it so i woulnd't really know.
Is it good or bad?

PVP or AoE farming talent. not so good for raiding.

I have a hard time making right of it. I still put a point in it for raiding.
Why? Simply it is a fire and forget spell we can let loose for AoE damage or even single target bosses. Patchwerk? Let it loose nice and early, that's damage being done without having to do any work for it. For pvp... sucks. Better off going 50/0/21 for Nature's Swiftness. Blizzard can talked about increasing the coefficients on the damage.

I use it all the time raiding. As for the range... just learn to judge the range. Not too challenging in all honesty.
There are many many trash packs in Naxx where Starfall does more damage for the single GCD it takes than anything else you could do with that GCD, by miles (except perhaps a well aimed Typhoon on a jumbo sized pack).
On almost all bosses with adds you can use it to do very high damage, often while continuing to DPS the boss. Its the fact that you can AoE while doing other things that makes it really shine.

I like it quite a bit on my balance druid. I'm lv 62, but I have lots of low lv friends who need boosting! Starfall is very useful for taking out large groups of enemies. Between Starfall, Typhoon and Hurricane, boosting is not problem at all.
However the damage isn't super good for fighting enemies your own level when soloing, and yes, it does aggro everything in a mile radius. If I cast this in a group, somehow it just will aggro stuff, regardless of the tank's efforts.

Well probably suck with a balance druid as much as you do with punctuation.
Starfall is great in pretty much every boss fight. And if you are worried about pulling extras get glyph of focus.
Personally starfall is always on cooldown for me I use it on AoE pulls, boss fights, and just about everything.
Extra Dps is Extra Dps. And if you have a problem with mana wait until you get omen of clarity then pop it.

It's seeming like an alright spell, but more of a thing to use for fun instead of actually trying to damage with it, mainly for the reason that it pulls way to much. WAY...TO...MUCH...

Would you like to show me where i made any mistakes? Because im pretty sure i didn't... And btw, i can play my druid, i just find starfall to be really broken.

The spell doesn't pull too much, the player does. If you can't judge the range of your balance spells and therefore the range of Starfall, then you are not capable of using Starfall, so best not get it.
That doesn't change the fact that it is an incredibly useful spell which when used right does a large amount of damage.
