That's the line.
You're also going to have more mana because you're going to spend less time with increased mana costs. (3 seconds less of 20% increased mana costs every 84seconds)
edit: the AM glyph effectively acts exactly the same as if you somehow could put 3 points into "spellpower" for AM only.
Also, depending on the length of the fight, you could pull off more AP than you could before. That has to contribute somewhat, I figure.

The longer the fight, the better AP scales now. This is in essence a buff for the spec, and should allow much better scaling.
