Just something I was thinking about as my guild was running an instance I was not a part of..how it would be nice to still watch what them run it. Create some tv viewing like ability... maybe called "instance watch". Just a thought..any opinions..?

I guess there are a few things you'd have to consider.
First the privacy of the group, would it be something where anyone could observe, or perhaps better something that would require an invitation.
What is the system impact on the servers, and more importantly the group. Could your presence potentially impact the instance in a negative way? There are already caps on the number of people that can be in an instance, would a viewer impact that?
I personally believe that such a feature, though clever and interesting would get little attention due to it's lack of practical application.

i think it would be cool, but yeah, blizzard would probably put it as a low priority thing.
maybe if they just made an option to put a mind vision type thing on someone in an instance it could work

You can view a lot of instances and raids being run on YouTube, you know....

You can view a lot of instances and raids being run on YouTube, you know....don't you think the point is to watch them live? maybe you could be a ghost and follow the raid, and have an assortment of spells such as mind vision

Of course it would have to be by invite..or maybe limited to guild only. Perhaps incorporate cam view on one of the players on the run so that you would see it from their view. I don't think there would be any impact on the server considering how many people can participate in Wintergrasp..would it really cause any problem to have a few people passively watching a 10 man run..?
