Divine Plea used to be a lot more than 50% I think, during the testing period. Blizzard probably saw that those 20% are not hurting the healers as they should.

I love all the changes to all the classes. This is the only patch I've ever been excited about.

So let me get this straight.. As a blood elf prot pally, I will now have 5 ways to interupt casters (HoJ, Arcane Torrent, Excorsism(glyph), ShoR, and AS), as well as a huge bonus to mana regen that doesn't require me to take hits. THINK about what this means for prot pvp! WOW! We used to be able to outlive any melee class pretty much, our weakness was kiting and casters. Well lets see that mage kite me now that I can throw my shield at range to not only daze him but silence as well! By the time I get in his face he won't be able to get another cast time spell down. Another range attack int he form of exorcism too wow. I see a nice place for prot in pvp now, think about it. We can practically shut down a healer with our silences now. The healer will call for his dps buddies to help him, and they will because they want heals.. well that ends up with a bunch of guys trying to kill you.. which is excactly what a tank wants! $%& off the healer and get aggro yay! I'm sooo down for this. This is the time of the player tank!

I believe they are nerfing ret and holy for SA regen, not prot.
And i called the DP nerf... Although i don't know how much of a nerf that really is for most encounters right now, Holy Light spam will just get less overhealing done I'd imagine and you might have to be a little more careful when you use it depending on the fight.
It will make Patchwerk a little more of a challenge since there are rarely times you can get away with 50% healing hits in there. I see more use of Avenging wrath there and probably a mana pot now... I'd still think it was doable for sure though.
I knew it was coming, because they couldn't just leave paladins
alone.
Oh and it would be a great time to pop trinkets if they are a short CD...it may save ya in Patchy.

This would be a dream for me but, alas, it obviously sounds WAY too good to be true...
If I wanted a prot warrior I would have ROLLED ONE! >.<!

In all honesty this just sounds way too nice to be solid.
Blizz has a bad habit of balancing for PvP and in turn lets it break for PvE.
These stuns and silences are ridiculous, and as much as I hope they all stay, chances are they are going to tweak a lot of this.

I should point out:
At the current point, only Exorcism is going to be useable against any mob, NOT Holy Wrath.
I do agree that these Prot changes seem almost too good. I am also interested if we're going to get the full 10% BoK, or just the 2% with 4 talent points somewhere improving it. Honestly, they took it away from being a one point talent because 10% stat increase was considered OP, so I wouldn't be suprised if it is the 2% BoK that is baseline with a talent to improve it.
I'll be interested to see what they put as an 11-point talent in Prot, if they ever do.

Insanely interesting post regarding PvP in 3.1. Among the highlights:
The next emblem will be called Emblem of Conquest
There will be a new boss in the Vault of Archavon

I'm not quite sure who you're speaking TO, exactly, but:
Just no. Bad troll is bad troll. Ret has its problems, and making Exorcism apply to all enemies is a definite way for us to remain competitive in a PvE environment.
