Frost Strike Spam [Theory]

Though I know an efficient rotation involves dumping runic power as soon as possible, sometimes a full rotation is not possible, and you end the fight with high amounts of RP.
I'm trying to think of something involving Glyph of Frost Strike, since 3 glyphed frost strikes = 96 runepower, or 4 = 128.
Naturally, a build like this will need to abuse Butchery and Scent of Blood, along with Chill of the Grave and Glyph of Icy Touch.
Also, this build would probably not work so well in instances, and might actually work better in outdoor PvE and possible PvP (where things rarely go as planned).
You will not always be at full RP, but there are off chances when you start a rotation close to full RP.
Also another theory - this build would work a little better against prot specced players (specifically prot warriors who steamroll DKs right now). Frost Strike ignores armor, and can not be blocked dodged and parried. Chances are you will only get 2-3 shots on a warrior, but those shots will hit hard and will hit.
Any thoughts? It seems incredibly ridiculous, but I just can't stop thinking that it could be crazy enough to work *somehow*.
EDIT: What, no comments? Not even a person who thinks it's a lousy idea? I'd test this myself, but I'm more concerned with leveling and earning gold to pay for respecs first... (And epic mount). =\

That is all I saw in this post. You need to stay off these forums with your idiotic theorys and proclimations until you've actually hit 80 and tanked some real encounters. You were level 76, what, over a month ago, according to your signature. You're theories are terrible, your advice is terrible, and you are terrible. This is the last time I will ever respond to your BS.

I'm looking through your old posts and laughing. I did reroll on a new server because you know, I got sick of 1 hour queues on Jubei'Thos?
Oh hahah! you're the guy with the Draenei Death Knight who's being carried by his guild right? Grats again!
You've even gone and deleted the post mentioning you had a 76 DK!

Um, I think every smart 2h Frost player gets Glyph of Frost Strike now? Frost Strike spam is fundamental to any 2h Frost build, and there are rotations in both Unholy and Blood that allow you to seamlessly pull off Frost Strikes with Icy Touch/Obliterate/Blood Strike.
I don't really see what point you're trying to make here.

Hmm... I guess I was trying to get a build that could put out one extra frost strike per rotation, but number crunching it was too painful in my (apparently terrible) brain.

the problem is that it may happen that by the time your 4th or 3rd frost strike lands, the deaseases on the target will fade.
Plus considering PVP fight, collection all that RP may fail due to cleansing, desease removing spells/totems. ( in other words, during fight, it will take time to build up both deseases and RP)
While soloing, i usually dump Frost strike right after Frost Fever on the target and when killing machine procs. simple rotation : Icy Touch - Plague Strike - Blood Strike x2 - Obliterate - Frost Strike dump (or when killing machine procs)

PvE all I do is
Icy Touch > Pestilence > Howling Blast > Blood Boil > Frost Strike
, repeat. I find it very good myself. Not too much of a need to spam it until later in fights, or if you have the glyph. PvP the spam is much more useful. Also, the idea you had Afox... It is crazy enogh to work! Just find the right time to start the spams, and you're golden. Somewhere after each two moves perhaps?

crap
Here's a synopsis of what happened:
Afoxi: hey people I have this idea, it may not work but I have the feeling it could work if done correctly, what do you all think?
addohm: I obviously belong on the official wow forums. Oh and you are terrible for having ideas. Terrible I say.
Go away.
To the OP: It does work, but I rarely have a chance to spam it more than twice before it's time to renew diseases, in terms of PvE and in raids where it is >very< important on multipulls to keep diseases on everything.
Glyph of Frost Strike is the only special setup I have in that direction though. However I'm a tank, for a pure dps build you have a little more flexibility with your talents. I do suggest against talenting butchery though...that's primarily a levelling talent imo and better spend elsewhere in the endgame scene.

There was talk of an interesting Frost Rotation that used Icy Touch as a Nuke instead of for diseases, I'm wondering if
this build
could do it.
First Rotation:
Blood Strike > Blood Strike > Obliterate > Obliterate > Dump
(60 Runepower generated at minimum, with any luck you'll have 64 for 2 Frost Strikes.)
Second:
Icy Touch > Icy Touch > Icy Touch > Icy Touch > Icy Touch > Icy Touch > Frost Strike > Frost Strike > Frost Strike > Frost Strike. EDIT: 150 RP in this rotation, overflow by 20.
With a third rotation you could probably change it to this so that Obliterate benefits from Frost Fever (while it lasts, might be unecessary if it turns out this build works better in Unholy Presence):
Obliterate > Obliterate > Blood Strike > Blood Strike > Dump
This is the first time I've ever considered a build DRM and BotN for 6 Death Runes viable, I think I'm going crazy.
PS - Depending how Blood Tap works you could also do a:
Blood Strike > Blood Strike > Blood Tap > Icy Touch > Blood Strike > Obliterate > Obliterate > Dump
...for huge RP gain in the first rotation.
I'll try to find something on EJ.
EDIT: Glyphed Icy Touch = generates 25 rp, Glyphed Frost Strike = uses 32rp
EDIT2: Turns out the rotation (or a similar one) exists on EJ and is known as the 6xIT build. It's better for people with Good AP but with a terrible weapon.
