I asked this same question a few weeks ago myself, here is the link to it because I got a lot of really good replies from it;

And to answer your question, yes you are. I'd stick to Nexus, UK and VH in that order to get the hang of it.
Also, the group you run with makes all the difference in the world. I've run H VH without any wipes a dozen times, and sometimes I find myself in groups with people that even if I had 2500 sp I couldn't keep them alive because they are their own worse enemy. Dont give up if you wipe a few times, it may not be your fault.

If I were you I would change a few things with your spec. We hardly ever use HT as it is a long cast, therefore I would remove the points in naturalist, replenish and max out Master Shapeshifter. I also would remove points from Tranquil Spirit.

is basically the important talents for resto. The devs themsleves have said that replenish is a horrible talent. It really seems like a good idea until you look at what it has given you back at the end of the raid. I prefer keeping talents in Natures Grace and living seed. Everybody has their own playstyle though.
By all means, get your stuff enchanted. You are missing out on 150 spellpower and some regen by not enchanting your items. Even doing the lesser cheap enchants, you willb e fine.

don't forget for burst healing you can always hit swiftmend... if more is needed natures swiftness healing touch or regrowth.
more often than not i find natures swiftness sufficient... as long as you keep your hot rotations on your tank then hitting that will fill the rest of the way**...
**usually
btw you might wanna get the
earthgiving set
made... its best you can get till naxx really :D
i didn't start healing heroics till 1600 or so... so im not sure if yours is enough *shrug*
more important than gear is ability, and only you can judge your readiness.

The glyph og healing touch is for Balance/feral druids mainly for pvp. That glyph takes away your big emergency "oh %^&* button" heal. I can see where once in a blue moon that a resto druid would want to cast HT in a 5man. It is foolish to do so in raids to the exception of patch and loath. Regrowth very easily makes up for the loss in HT. In the end it heals for more. On top of that, if you tae natures grace, there is a 70% chance that not only are you going to drop a sead for another 3k but you are also going to cast a 6k nourish in 1 second afterwards.
