Another viewpoint, if I may provide it. You can tank in a unholy dps or arena build. As long as you have bone armor and hps (and defence cap, of course), then you can tank fine. The plus side of this is that you can spec for horde/alliance bg/arena melting and tanking also. You dont need to respec if you want to go do some pve. Additionally, a pvp build with imp anti magic shell provides more utility against caster bosses/mobs. For example, in my arena build and my blue tanking gear (i even had to get uncrittable using resilience....) I main tanked Kel Thuzad 25 man. Not cos im awesome, im really not, just because the class is innately good at tanking and cos pve is so easiy its insulting. This is the exact spec I tanked KT in.
