So, I am getting fairly well geared on my druid. He's got almost 400 resil with only a 2 lvl 70 pvp items left, and the rest are heroic epics. Unfortunately, no naxx 25 for this toon yet...
I have a buddy with a resto sham and a surv hunter. IMO, the survival hunter is not a good choice for a feral druid, but we tried it, and the shear lack of heals is pretty bad. His shaman has near zero gear as well, but I'm guessing it would be better.
My question, after gearing him, will the shaman be as good as a holy pally partner?
I know a geared holy pally that's pushing 1700 ratings in his 2v2(which sucks because he replaced his fail DK with a good DK, and now has a good enough rating that he's sticking with him for now), and almost 1800 in his 3v3. He wanted to try 2v2 with a feral druid, but I guess I wasn't quick enough on the grind. =(
Has anyone had success with a resto sham? I'm thinking playing with the holy pally would be better, but I want input since purge could be a game winner in many cases(like killing disc priests). =)

Resto shaman are usually zerged down as fast as possible since they dont have a
burst breaker
( aka bubble ).
It can be a good partner but right now, I think a holy pal would be better.
If you plan to stick your shaman, you'll need to pratice peeling off and burst breaks ( ex: cyclone switchs ).
