If the tank dies, its the healers fault.
If the healer dies, its the tanks fault.
If the dps dies, its their own fault.
stay out of casting time by grouping instants at the end of long casts.
Tanking a low levels can be very difficult so let the tank get aggro before you heal them (they're supposed to have large health pools for a reason)
while leveling i rarely used FH (but this was before glyphs) so maybe thats why you're going oom too early.

A lot of dps players tent to think its their job to get the highest score on recount no matter the cost.
if they pull aggro once, let them know what they are doing is wrong.
if they pull aggro twice remind them again, to watch what they're doing.
After that just let them die and see how high they get on the meters.
This ofcourse only works with scrubs in PUGs who believe they are gods gift to the party and wont listen to reason. Doing this in a guild raid is not a good idea.

why not there are warriors and mages in my guild that always pull aggro from the tank cause they blow all there CDs right off the bat so I just let them die, then we all joke about it afterwards.
also since I didn't see it, healing doesn't really have a rotation you usually just use the heals when people are dieing

the best advice i can give you is if you wanna be a good tank healer you have to go disc, but if you wanna be a raid healer not main tank keep going holy. both are about equal for 5 man. im, on my way as main tank healer for raids here im loving disc its awesome:)
try using more flash heal even though i'll admit , it its way better as a disc i hope you find a better tank a horrid tank makes everything bad 4 you:(

Two last questions that have been on my mind is as a healer what do I do about peoples pets (hunters and locks)? Do I heal pets too or let the owner heal them
I almost never heal warlock pets. At 80, if I have the mana and time, I'll renew or FH a hunter pet (that is a significant portion of their dps, so it helps the whole group if the pet stays alive and if the hunter is good, can be used to save me should I pull aggro). It helps to know the fight so you know just how needed the heal is. However, I do pretty much require that the hunter use Mend Pet before I'll heal at all. The pet is the hunter's priority (his dps), not mine.
and on the subject of locks. If a lock is burning all their mana on single target fights then doing their convert health into mana trick in the middle of a fight do I attempt to throw heals at them which causes me to have to neglect my tank or let them make their choices and just keep a renew on them?
The warlock is part of the group and needs mana to cast; it is my job to watch that health bar. The warlock should not be Life Tapping to death, though. Sometimes, you'll get a 'lock who says don't worry about heals. That's usually a good 'lock who is careful of both health and mana bars and will Drain Life as needed. You should still watch their health as they sometimes get a little $%^&y, pull aggro, and die. :)
