This seems to be the mentality of a lot of MMO gamers, regardless of the particular game. WoW has a ton of them, but so do all the others. I haven't quite figured it out yet... do they stay because they thrive on being miserable and want everyone else around them to be? Because they have nothing else to fill that gap in their schedule with once the game is gone? Or maybe they just see all the other complaints and have to hop on the bandwagon to be one of the cool kids.
There are plenty of things to complain about, and I do my fair share of it at times. But the incessant crying and whining about how terrible the game is, is a little tiring. Unfortunately, I think some people just like to complain for the sake of complaining.

To the OP, I could not agree with you more. I also have read and observed this temper tantrum that other WoW players are having. I can't figure out why they continue to play, since they hate it so very much.
People typically complain because they are too lazy to figure out how to do certain things like kill another class. So they sit there like little children and whine until someone listens. The problem is that people eventually listen and will give them what they want. So what happens the next time that person is frustrated? You got it, they whine again because they've learnt that people will eventually listen.
We simply need to ignore them. Like children, once they learn they can't get everything they want, they stop whining.
Exactly.
Solution? Is there anything that the none "hate Blizzard" crowd can do? Outside of trying to get out the word that we don't want whiners in WoW, I am not sure.
Please note I don't think WoW is perfect in its current form, however I am not throwing a childish temper tantrum to get what I want.

I have to agree with the OP...but i think it is more impatience than hate. I started playing 2 yrs ago....just after BC when the game was about BoJ and getting gear quickly. This must have pleased quite a lot of people. Then came LK....not only do they now have to earn emblems..but rep must be earnt and not bought off the AH (and boy do i have 100's of heroics to run)..but to add insult to injury we now have to level our professions through dailies too (as a JC/Enchanter and cook - this is as lot of dailies).
So i have to ask myself..are people really that disillusioned or fed up that they actually have to earn their gear? Lets face it..if we could max our professions/run the raids 1st time with no wipes/get the best gear going within 2-3 months of release..then surely there would be more cause for complaint than a game that is trying to keep us busy till the next decent patch..............
the morale of the story is : give blizz a break...they are trying to keep us interested and for the most of us it works

OP, I think you don't realize that people exaggerate. They may say they hate the game but really they only hate a certain
aspect(s)
of the game. If you speak
loudly
you will be heard more then if you speak quietly. So that's why they use hate, it's a strong word and maybe gets the point across.
