Keep making them. A random proc (based on a percentage) is still a random proc. What is the alternative? Not creating them any more?
Keep with it, they will proc.

Just did a test on this, elixir mastery 450. I made 10 major mageblood with no procs (don't really need them, just doing the test), then made 2 of the spirt and got a proc on the 2nd one of times 1. So got 3 spirit instead of 2. I would say just keep trying. Not sure on the mageblood, but since I don't need them and have no one to give them to, I don't want to make more just to test.

Got the same problem, although I have it with elixir of mighty defense. Tried 2 batches of 20 and no proc.
