Hi guys, just a heads up, hope I'm not the only one affected, but here goes:
The website is extremely slow to respond, and often leaves pages at 'Connecting to wowhead.com...' or stops responding all together. All linked items will 90% of the time say 'no answer from server :('
I've tried with both IE and Firefox (with clean histories/cookies/temp files etc) and have encountered this at random this morning. I'm not having any difficulty with any other websites (and I checked on several dozen). It seems like the web server is extremely sluggish for some reason. When submitting a post/new thread, it likes to hang as well... I've noticed a lot of people double-posting and in some cases creating multiple copies of the same thread, so I don't think its just me.
Again, just a heads up!
~Fritz
PS if there's a better way to let you guys know about this, please say so in the thread =)
EDIT: Ah, there is! A Site Feedback forum (that I somehow never noticed before! I thought I was going to have to e-mail an apology or something because when I could no longer find the thread in general I thought perhaps it was deleted out of hand, or taken for a flame or something, but it was just moved here! Well, there's my answer to my PS question, thanks ^.^

It's happening for me too. My guess is it has something to do with the new patch. :(

Agreed. The site seems abnormally slow this morning. Maybe I'm just spoiled by its normally lightning-fast responses.

Localized versions are randomly down too since this morning (fr, de, es, ru).
